a brawl right inside of the doors of the school hallway, yesterday, in the morning, which led to suspensions in the afternoon and then an emergency meeting for parents, the public and even the police last night. so what will happen friday? well, police themselves had to put out notice right on the washington township police facebook page, to say, hey, we will ease the tensions and any fears by telling you that school officers will be highly visible for remainder of the week and probably after and wrote quote we can confidently dispel rumors a gun was brought to school here at the high school. >> it has been brought to the administration's attention that there are racial slurs especially on social media from other students, not necessarily against the student, but toward another race. >> at first we felt anger but we decide that had we needed a different approach to this and decided that peaceful protest was the best. >> reporter: kid that confronted the other kid, who are apparently responsible for the text were angry that they got suspend because they didn't mean to start a fight with anybody. they wanted to talk it out some how this fight breaks out separate letters afterward from both the superintendent, and the high school principal, also sent out to everybody informing everyone, what they called the confrontation among the students, in the hallways, over the school, media, social media, writings the day before sparked what they called an emotional reaction. police report they tell everybody, filed for all of it bill and karen. >> steve, thanks very much. silent protest will be held this morning this is at coatsville high school in chester county. this is story we have been following right here on good day for a couple days. this is latest demonstration in the wake of a number of incidents that have happened out there, there were pumpkins carved with racist symbols posted on social media and dog depicting a lynching a dog hanging from a ceiling. parents are upset, community is upset about all of these things there was a protest back on wednesday. it has been a week since a 57 year-old man was struck and killed in the hit and run accident, this morning, they are still showing no signs of that driver and fox 29's dave kin much chen has more. >> is there a new clue in this deadly hit and run but police still need your help, in frankly neighbors say that is the problem. they say no one talks on the streets of southwest philadelphia surely someone knows who was driving this gray van, philadelphia police say hit a 57 year-old southwest philadelphia neighbor, known as unc, heart breaking death taking place on the 2300 block of 67th street, last sunday night. accident investigators say that the dodge caravan or chrysler town and country was speeding, and hit unc while crossing the street, the problem, a code of silence, on the streets is now standing in the way of justice. >> people around here are scared to say deadly shooting spree in maryland and delaware >> court documents say radee prince had a history of violence with co-workers. >> he is accused of opening fire on his collogues in maryland on wednesday killing three, two others were injured , police say then he tried to kill owner of the used car lot in wilmington bringing that total to six people that he shot. he is face ago tempted murder charges, his bail settle at two million-dollar. people that necessity him tell us that he is, considering everything that he is doing, they are pretty shaken up but they are doing all right. >> he is hanging accused of targeting a woman in her 60's. prosecutors charged 19 year-old cameron key shawn johnson after they say he robbed a woman at gunpoint and then sexually assaulted her. victim was just walking to a bus stop in chester near the walnut park apartments when she was attacked last week. johnson is behind bars, with bail set at one and a half million-dollar. we have a major announcements from prosecutors in philadelphia they have indicted 13 people on crack cocaine sales, and for their involvement in various shootings. officials say these were members of the rival drug groups across our city. fairmount residents are rattled, they are concerned after a series of robberies at gunpoint all in their neighborhood and all in just the past week. police say it started sunday night with two robberies between eight and 9:00 p.m., one at corner of the 22nd and brown and other at 2500 poplar street. tuesday night there were two robberies near 27th street, authorities believe the same person was behind all four, and they are searching for surveillance video from the area in hopes of just identifying that suspect. >> i definitely told my wife and kid about it and they are not going out past dark. >> just part of the neighborhood here in the metro city, something you have to be careful with. >> police say there is a bit of the pattern. suspect is attempting to take both cash, and cell phones. >> more than a month after three people were assaulted at a dover delaware apartment complex investigators say they got their suspect right now. they have arrested 23 year-old khalil handser, they think help pistol whipped three people after a squirmish between him and another guy. he fired weapon but nobody was hit with billets but just back end of the weapon itself. two of the three people struck had to be to the hotch where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries. he is behind bars at james vaughn correctional center. in light of the everything going on this is making people nervous. philadelphia police and counter terrorism investigators are searching for a man trespassing on roofs in center city and then taking pictures. surveillance video taken monday at the dorchester condo s on rittenhouse square captured this man in the building. now police say he entered the building and cut the wire to a door leading to the roof where he was then seen taking pictures. man was also able to access a second roof, investigators believe the same man got in the sunesta hotel at 1800 market street last month. some say he is apparently easy access is troubling, councilman darryl green with advocates say they have filed a right to know request with the school district. they want more information about the potential environmental health risks at john b kelly elementary school and others. kelly was closed a couple days after mold was found, at class mold was also found in schools in monroe township in new jersey. a bucks county school is taking extra security measures after a deer carcus was found hanging at a field. it happened at war memorial field at central bucks west high school in doyletown, the district said it has informed the police and those responsible will face disciplinary action. security is being stepped up before tomorrow's football game against central bucks east. prosecutors say that this guy led police on a wild foot chase that ended up in a trash can. devanity williams ace accused of using a fake id to rent a car at enterprise on wednesday and once people got suspicious of him, they called 911. when police got there he ran away. where did he hide? a trash can. they found him. he faces theft and resisting arrest charges. former philadelphia district attorney seth williams has been now officially disbarred. supreme court of pennsylvania, tweeted the news out last night and williams pled guilty to federal corruption charges back in june and has remained incarcerated ever since after the judge denied bail. he faces up to five years in prison and set to be sentenced on tuesday. on the same day that the supreme court of pennsylvania disbarred the former philadelphia district attorney that is seth williams two candidates vying for d.a. job, they went head to head in a debate. democrat larry krasner and republican bet grossman squared off for two hours at lasalle university last night. two touted their experience, their transparency, krasner has been a public defender of more than 30 years. grossman 20 plus years of experience in the d.a.'s office and being endorsed by the philadelphia fraternal weinstein of rape. investigators are looking into claims in new york, london and legal experts say this new allegation could actually lead to prosecution, since it falls within the 10 year statute of limitations. so far more than 40 women have come forward with allegations of sexual harassment or assault against weinstein. the list of accusers continue to grow this morning oscar winning lou put high school, washington township here in gloucester county is biggest high school in all of the state of new jersey and here we go again another instance in the school, hallways here of modern day media on phones, monk teens going from phones to fists, when confronting face-to-face turned in the fight the teens targeted by racial text decided a silent sit in demonstration was the best move to make to show how hurt those word caused. >> text messages are sent to me and a couple of my friends from the other students in the school, racial slurs, and honestly, at first we felt anger, but we decided we needed a different approach to this and just decided peaceful protest was the best. >> well, sadly peaceful protest did not end things for the day here yesterday, discipline in the form of the suspensions students say were ordered and school administrators talk it out with meetings both in the daytime among the kid in the school at first and then later an emergency meeting last night with parents, police meantime also involved, bill and karen, promising to be highly visible both in and around the school today and highly helpful to hopefully, give all of the parents and other
