Get on twitter and answer that it is covered. It is covered. But you found it in the bathroom. I dont know who it is. Who knows if it was originally this color. That is it. You are officially part of good day philadelphia. Drop the mike. That was great. Lets get to the number. Take this to the shower and clean it up. Yes. Fresh cup of coffee time, it is 7 00 oclock. It is seven out of 10 today with cloudy skies, it is cool, wow, there is a black cat with bus stop buddy. It is friday 13th. We have an just in case umbrella you could run into a stray, shower, and, and temperatures are cool. Do not forget sweater or jack tote day. We have rain in the south in southern delaware. We are socked in with cloud. We are close to that official sunrise time of 7 10 but were in the looking for much sunshine, if any today. Cloudy, windy, showers around. 67 degrees, today, tonight some drizzle, possible and some patchy fog, and there might be a little unsettled tonight down to 63 degrees. But there are changes coming for weekend. We will get that warm up bob kelly but it will not last. We have big temple game tomorrow down at the linc. Good morning everybody. Accident on the schuylkill expressway causing a jammo for gang leaving south philadelphia, zooming on in here backup begins right here around vare, coming out of passyunk avenue heading westbound in toward university the accident right there at university right before the un i on ramp, leaving south philly, head for i95 to pick up the vine expressway from there. Heres another accident, southbound, and, taken out what would be the left lane. Look at the backup on the schuylkill. A lot of this has to do with folks having to get over to 30th street station and gaper delay for that crash at university. Be ready for hot bed of construction on i95 this weekend beginning today through tuesday, eventually penndot will open up new ramps to go north on i95 from richmond street and then take three lanes and shift them over to the newly rebuilt side of the roadway, all that should be complete by tuesday morning, mass transit though, looking good with no reported delays. Eagles will escape with the win. How about the eagles, they are going to go to fiveone and they have already. Throw it down the field. It is friday the 13th and sue was just mentioning black cats, right . So, sometimes black cats have bad luck on thursday the 13th or third the 12th. Did the game end before midnighty dont know i was asleep. So was i. Good morning, good day to be an eagles fan. They defeated Carolina Black cats 2823. Jenny, i woke up, grabbed my phone, i said okay, googled the score, i said please, please let this be a win. It was a win. Are you saying you didnt stay up to watch the whole game. I wouldnt be here if i stayed up and watched it, so no, i did not. Reporter i said earlier i fell asleep on the couch watching, but, fiveone. This is great news. Do you remember when we were so sad to be philadelphia sports fans and now we absolutely have something to cheer about. Were live here at Dunkin Donuts in south philadelphia where people are coming for their dollar coffee after last nights eagles win a lieutenant of excitement surrounding the eagles right now. Last night was definitely not an easy game. Carolina has a strong defense. Carson wentz said in powe game interviews that the panthers executed some plays this were not expecting. It was a challenging thursday night game especially being a short week for the bird. Fans were excited though to see such a big win. Wentz had a big game throwing for 222yard and three touchdowns. Quarterback said the team is growing together. Fans, they think so too. In a Fourth Quarter i think there was four minutes left when it was like, we had the ball for a minute and 10 seconds and i thought cam newton would get the win but the defense stepped up and pulled it out. We are hype, were happy. Reporter your smiles really big this morning. Yeah, good morning, good morning. Reporter good morning. It is a great morning. So last week was a short week for the bird. Now we are on a extended period of time for the bird. I wouldnt call it a vacation but they will be back on the field practicing this week ahead of monday night football on october 23rd. Hopefully they can enjoy the weekend and still get back to work. Thank you for orange shout out because flyers have their home opener tomorrow night, lets go flyers. Yes. Lets go flyers. So we wont forget about them. Thank you, nicely done. Talking about some flyers gear you can get this season. The other jen. Jen fred. Jenny, jenny and jen fred. We have a jenny and a jen. Yes. Okay, fine. Lets get back to the mold story, what a horrible story this is, mold all week long. They are doing more checks and they are finding more mold as they are checking. People having questions because it is shutting down some schools. Steve, what does this mean . What is going on. Reporter were on north broad street. Heres a little coincidence real estate wise. Thinks where two newspaper used to be, you can see the names still on the front doors when newspaper were here last time they won pulitzer prize, two report names, barbara lak er and wendy rudeman. These two fine reporters were assigned to this mold story with the help of dylann parcells. They have a good story this morning on the jb kelly situation, and youll recall yesterday we had news release number one saying just traces of mold were found at that school. Well, Teachers Union told us that is, not exactly correct. The traces turned out to be 600 square feet of mold in 10 of the 41 classrooms. Yesterday more mold found after day ones numbers. 400 more square feet in 15 other places outside all of the classrooms, bathrooms, closets, the hallways. Three reporters at philly. Com s report says mold has been rampant throughout the school for years. November 2015 report that we also obtained two years ago these pictures were showing you of mold on jb kellys desk chairs and Musical Instrument case where is among several taken by teachers at jb kelly school and their union then paid for a scientific environmentalist to do a report on the mold and this report prepared and sent to the district, two years ago. So, when the district spokesmen as you will hear, lee whack tells us they just found mold at jb kelly on wednesday afternoon, well, he may not necessity about the 2015 report because he wasnt here but what he told us and what the district told us in the news release just isnt true. All i know is there was a report from the School Community to the School District. Once we got that information we acted immediately and got out to the school and started to assess this situation. So, that is what i know, were determining next steps and we will go from here but the school will not be opened, with mold in it. We will not open up the school until we dermitis mold free. Reporter we shot these tiles through windows in the doors yesterday morning. Now it turns out that mold in a lot of the Ceiling Tiles according to lee whack and so many that they are replacing all of the Ceiling Tiles in the 47 yearold school. Those reporter at philly. Com talked to a former teacher there Stephen Fleming got transferred but he side to them that he told william hite in an email and in pictures too about the mold situation just in his classroom and hite sent a crew over there that day but problem still persisted. So even at the top, the superintendent knew about jb kellys mold long ago apparently. It is so weird people talk about mold invading the city like it just came from mars in the last week. This mold has been in these buildings for a long, long time. The question is why are they just checking it. Because were checking. All right, steve we will check back with you here. If you getting ready to go out for your running along kelly drive and right in the Schuylkill River trail, which is beautiful, by the way. Philadelphia police are increasing their patrols. You might notice that. This is after a couple of incidents month. Man said that she was attacked by a group of teens on the Schuylkill River trail. She tells police she was jogging tuesday with teens on bicycles surrounded and then groped her. One victim says no one even stopped to help her. Nobody stopped to help. Also at the park police recovered a mans body riddled with gunshot wounds. His body was filled from the water around walnut street and schuylkill avenue yesterday. Detectives are trying to determine the mans identity. They believe he is in his 50s right along the Schuylkill River trail. Now lets get to the wild fires in california, biggest story in our country right now we are learning thinks the deadliest, fire situation in californias history. They have fires every year at this time but this is the word thomas, at this point they have more than 20 different fires going on. Exactly 20 fires, they are battling 8,000 fire fighters. Death toll continues to rise. It now stands at 31. 8,000 fire fighters, they are on the front lines. They need additional help. They are worried that gusty wind could make the conditions worse here, the numbers staggering, we are talking about thousands of homes, over 2,000 homes destroyed and nearly 200,000 acres burned throughout the state. Hardest hit in sol ano napa and sonoma counties and with no rain in sight it could somebody time before they get the upper hand this morning still no word on what sparked those fires. Once again 31 people confirmed dead this morning, 400 people mike and alex still reported missing. That is unreal. Original number, a thousand but 600 locate budd 400 individual. That is odd, thanks, thomas eleven pennsylvania seven now. Is obama care gone . The Trump Administration followed through on a threat to cut off, cost sharing payments to insure companies. It could have a major impact on Insurance Markets with open enrollment, just weeks away, doug, executive order, explain again how this works, congress cant seem to figure this out over almost 10 years now. So did our president just decide to do it himself. Reporter well, yeah he did a couple things. One was the executive order and the other was this news that came out last night that the administration will stop making these payments. Now they say the white house says that these payments were not legally authorized under obama care, making them is illegal. On the other hand president s critics, democrats say this amounts to sabotage. Congratulations, everyone. Reporter call it a 1 2 punch on obama care President Trump making two major moves in one day the latest an announcement that cost sharing subsidies to owe bam care payments to reduce co pays and deductibles will be cut off. In a statement the white house said there is no appropriation for cost sharing reduction payments to insure co under he bam a care n light of this analysis the government cannot lawfully make the cost sharing reduction payments. He is cutting off cost sharing reductions for the subsidies or insurance bail out, however you want to call it and with that yes you will have a quick unraveling of the Affordable Care act. Reporter democrats a sailed the move with congressional leaders nancy pelosi and Chuck Schumer calling it a spiteful act, vast, pointless sabotage but it cannot force hand of congress to clearly spell out how payments work and president making another big change, want executive order to allow insurance plans to be sold across state lines. Plans that could have lower premium but critics quick to point out they wouldnt necessarily cover as much. We are moving toward lower costs, and more options, in the health care market. Taking crucial steps toward saving the American People from the night mayor of obama care. Reporter the open Enrollment Period for these obama care exchanges begins november 1st. Is there uncertainty about these rates. Just to make this clear because is there confusion about this stuff. If you get your insurance through your employer this doesnt have an impact on you. There are about 6 Million People who get their insurance through obama care exchanges and qualify for these subsid ies. It is a relatively, population wise relatively small portion of the population but this can have a larger impact on rates in general because Insurance Company have to figure out what their risk is going to be for coming year and what kind of payments they will get from the government as well. That will affect everyone then. Can you explain that all over again. Reporter well, you see, there is. See you monday. Okay. You are in d. C. Over weekend you see him wandering the mall muttering to himself just say hi, doug and direct him to his home. 7 15. And lets see what the weather is looking like. I think so too. It has been kind of glummy since yesterday and we will still see cloud cover today all because of this system to our south and then high to the north is bringing northeasterly wind and that keeps us cloudy, so we wont see rain from cold front until late in the day on sunday, and so today will ab lot like yesterday, with just a few showers here and there. A lot like yesterday after morning rain ended, you can see just a few stray showers in Sussex County, delaware. Looking at future cast a lot of cloud, little bit of rain, some of that sneaking into our area maybe by this evening but be ready for just a stray shower. Thing is it is not a wash out nothing to change plans over but just see on saturday, in the morning a lot of cloud cover and a little bit of rain possible here and there. That is, the theme for the rest of the day. Now we will get to sunday, cloudy in the morning but sun comes out takes to us 80 degrees in the afternoon. After sunset a cold front comes through and chilly temperatures, cool seasonal temperatures come back again. 57 degrees in philadelphia. Fortythree mount pocono. Sixtythree wildwood. It is a cool start and it will stay cool all day with a high of 67. Seventyfive tomorrow. That is temple home coming day , we will just be cloudy maybe a peak of sunshine here and there. Eighty on sunday. Sixtytwo on monday. What a difference between sunday and monday. We will stay cool and nice stretch of weather after that through middle of the week any wye. Dont forget about 101. 1 more fm, radio partner, hear your Weather Authority forecast there and here on tv, bob kelly. You got it, home coming for cherry and white. 7 16. Good morning everybody. We have red brake lights. Disabled at bottom of the on ramp from Spring Garden street to go west on the schuylkill expressway. Watch what happens here. This guy has to merge in quicker and coming down the hill here, so just be careful leaving center city getting on the schuylkill heading west. That is causing a backup here across town on the vine street expressway. We will all get a late start from being up a little late watching the game last night. Problems leaving south philadelphia, westbound schuylkill expressway bumper to bumper from passyunk into university all because of an accident right before the University Avenue on ramp and then watch for delays on the schuylkill expressway, eastbound coming in the city, and then Navy Day Regatta takes over our kelly drive tomorrow, everyone will be arriving today so see lane restrictions on the kelly drive and then full shut down tomorrow morning and of course on the weekends both kelly and Martin Luther king drive are closed coming in the city for temple game, for the flyers game, give yourself extra time because that extra volume will be pushed on to the schuylkill expressway, mike and alex, back over to you. No doubt that the sixers are focusing as they gear up for their next preseason game, it is tonight in an unusual place, team used to have a basketball team, but they dont any more kansas city. They will play miami heat what a treat for people that dont have nba. Yeah, that is something for them. Also for joel embiid because he is from kansas or he played there. He played school there. He fridays africa but he played within year at university of kansas which is about 30 minutes away from kansas city. He claims it. He claims to be a jay hawk. Ben simmons, joel embiid and ben simmons attempted to make each other laugh in a little contest. The sixers put on something called a bad joke contest. You lose if you laugh, okay. Who do you think won . We will see. Okay. I asked first. Yes. Which mouse was a Roman Emperor or. Julius cheesier. Wow. Joel is naturally funny. We have somebody from australia and somebody from africa telling really dumb jokes. I found it humerus. We basically play this scene every single day. Every day. What has four legs and barks. A dog. Oh, you heard it. Yes, im sure i have. Shall we move on. You dont get why that is funny game is not supposed to laugh. That was good. Yeah. You got me. You have one in the control room a joke. They are saying you won that round. I won that round. You laughed. Okay. Youll to have find Something Else to do other than shopping after thanksgiving dinner . You know these stores were opened up on thanksgiving . A lot of them are not going to open. There are some malls saying we will stay home and be bloated and sleep on the couch. Do you like that idea . Yes, sound goods to me. Okay. I do. Honey, what are you doing . Watching a cow. . Whats it doing . Impressions start your day with the new hash brown scramble bowl from chickfila. So, are we no longer shopping on thanksgiving . Is that a thing. Remember, that is how it used to be. Then these store started opening and now we may go back to that. Some people were bothered by the fact that we were shopping. Big debate for everybody. So one company that owns 62 malls and half of the country says the doors will be closed. Umhmm. So lauren, we could see this become a trend again. The company owns four malls in pennsylvania and all of them at all of their malls will be closed object thanksgiving and you know what it didnt work. Customers and employees love it. Did it work . That is a good question. There is a whole idea of black friday being diluted, right, the entire weekend. We have the ability to shop at the dinner table at ou
