this accident after ntsb officials get on the scene. for now crash cities monitored by members of the civil air patrol and until they finish processing the plane a home built experimental aircraft will stay put. authorities say crash happened just just 56:00 p.m. plane hit a tree in the person 's front yard on meed road here in whitpain township , which is only about a mile from the end of the runway at the wings airport in blue bell. at the sound and sight of the crash neighbors rush over to the scene, they did their best to help the pilot, with seat belts wrapped around his neck, witnesses cut the pilot free and say that is when the man started breathing again. he was rushed to penn presbyterian hospital for emergency treatment. >> we found the pilot inside of the bush. >> we lifted up, took the pressure off his neck so that he can, the neighbor brian, cut the strap off, and helped him out. >> witnesses say they had their eye on this plane prior to the crash as it was dead, seven others are hurt after a masked gunman opened fire at a church in the town just outside nashville. police identified shooter as 25 year-old emmanuel samson, police say samson was wearing half of the mask when he started shooting in the church parking lot as people were leaving yesterday. a 39 year-old woman was killed as she walked, as she walked to her car and then police say he went inside and started randomly shooting others. that is when an usher confronted him. the two got in the fight that ended with more gunfire. >> hearing them struggle the shooter was shot. at this time we what left of the single person experimental aircraft will stay put on the front yard over here, authorities tell us that the crash happened yesterday, just after 5:00 p.m., the plane hit a tree, in a person's front yard and then hit the front of the home on meed road in whitpain township, this is only about a mile from the end of the runway, at the wings field airport in blue bell. at the sound and sight of the crash neighbors rushed over to the scene to do their best to help the pilot with seat belts wrapped around his neck. one of the witnesses happened to be dave butt, executive vice-president of the phillies , who became one of the few neighbors who saved the pilots life. >> we were all just hanging out sunday afternoon when we heard noise, my wife said, a branch fell. we came out, people were running and some said there was a plane crash. it is right across the street. >> he took the upper torso and i took the lower torso. we took the pressure off the neck so brian could cut the strap off. as soon as we did that, he came to. he started breathing again. and then we got him out of the bush and by then the ambulance was here. >> reporter: pilot was transported to penn presbyterian hospital for emergency treatment, as the pilot recovers in the hospital , the ntsb will continue its investigation into figure out how and why this happened. we are expecting
