So this has been a problem especially with the dune project, the beche replenishment project residents have been concerned about with the army corps of engineers all summer all of that changing the contour the beach. So folks down here are worried that these rip currents and these high waves that can come in will create bigger problems in terms of flooding although we have to say surfers certainly like the rip currents although many of them are using caution as welch lets go to some video though right now a different story entirely were seeing beaches eroded in Atlantic City. We will bring you more information as we get it. Developing story out of Montgomery County where teachers in the Methacton School district walked off the job. Students who should be in their first month of classes are not in school. The district canceled classes today after the Teachers Union decided to strike. Classes will remain closed tomorrow. Now, many of the districts more than 400 teachers picketed outside methacton high school. Their hope is that the district and the union can come to terms on a new teachers contract. The two sides theyve been bargaining since january. And the old contract expired at the end of june. The union had notified the School District friday that it intended to strike today which prompted an 11th hour negotiation yesterday. Both sides met for more than six hours yet still no deal.
