Police say before 11 00 this morning, a man in his 30s walked into the Beneficial Bank on the 1600 block of chestnut street. Investigators say he handed the teller a note demanding cash. Its unclear how much he walked away. Police have his description and are looking for him tonight. Developing now a lock down at two new york area coast guard bases. Authorities say the orders were given when a retired Police Officer witnessed people on sat 10 island hold wagon appeared to be an assault rifle. He told police they may have been paintball guns, but he was not sure, and took photos and sent them to investigators. The lock down has been lifted at the coast guard facility on Staten Island but theres no word on whether the all clear has been given yet at the base in sandy hook, new jersey. Police in Chester County say love and anger led to a young mans murder. The Chester County da announcing charges against Zachary Ludwig today. They say he grabbed an unlicensed shotgun and killed the mandating his exgirlfriend. Police say ludwig went to the victims home in North Coventry and gunned him down wednesday. He died yesterday at the hospital. The victims girlfriend also identified ludwig as the shooter shooter. Police are trying to find whoever shot two people in the citys fair hill section. This happening around 2 00 this morning near the intersection of front and clearfield streets. Investigators say someone opened fire from a white cadillac. Two people were shot and taken to Temple University hospital. No word tonight on their condition. Police say a man in Delaware County tried to abduct a child again and failed again. A senate bill 683 would make it mandatory to collect dna from people arrested for specific crimes even before theyre convicted. Most of the crimes are violent crimes. But there are some includeed like trespassing and simple assault the bill sponsor told me why he thinks this bill is necessary. The other states 28 of them who have provideed for this approval found it has been extremely successful in solving all cases presenting future preventing future crimes from serial offenders and reducing investigative costs. Aclu adamantly opposes this bill and says its just over reaching. Its really mind boggling the amount of information that the government now wants to a mass on people who have not been convicted of anything.
