Reporter City Council Woman marie lawson was part of all volunteer effort two years ago to bring some city spirit back to coatesville by placing 70 flags on the citys main drag every federal holiday. The vfk post 287 donateed 70 of them. Now police want to find those involved in taking the flags saying its more about principal. Youre looking at disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, theft. A total of 200 but its bigger than that. I think coatesville citizens deserve better and we would like to bring them to justice. The search is on for this guy who walked into the shop on the 500 block of Spring Garden monday night. Pulled out a gun police say he pointed it at an employee handed her a black plastic bag and demanded all the money in the register. No one is hurt, though. Police say 60yearold city councilman george outside a bank at the time of Robbery Police say an exploded dye pack in the stolen cash caught his eye so he took off running aft the suspect 30yearold kevin wang. Reporter neighbors along old rio grand avenue near south fifth street in middle township woke up this morning to an unusual and chaotic scene. Police all over the place and then there was big truck from the Prosecutors Office saying it was a crime scene. Reporter investigators say someone walking on a back trail in this wooded area in rio grand found the bodies of a man and woman both dead. I dont know what went on in their lives but its sad. Reporter wednesday evening, the Cape May CountyProsecutors Office was still working on identifying the bodies. Carol lives across the street from the woods and says the day before the bodies were found she noticed something very bizarre. Yesterday that was like hundreds of black birds flying around here. It was like something was dead somewhere. We couldnt figure out why. Like the last time we saw the birds there was a dead cat in the street. Reporter when she found out about the bodies, she says her first thought was that it could be homeless people. Many neighbors we talked to say the homeless frequent these woods. They go back there.
