Tonight the rain will move back in and then this arctic front just blows through the region overnight tonight early tomorrow and the winds will pick up and the cold will be right back on us by tomorrow morning at this hour. This is that audit report that came out in late october and this is the state report that investigated t grade fixing and schools graduating seniors who had missed way more school than they should have, and so this report which has been out now for a couple of months is going to get its first going over by the Prince Georges County delegation here in annapolis, and they had questions for dr. Maxwell and for mr. Burroughs. They will only ask mr. Burroughs his response to this because those allegations were meted out here. Hundreds students who had their grades fixed before graduation this past june and a year ago year and a half ago now, and there are a lot of questions as to why this audit report does not necessarily finger dr. Maxwell as having orchestrated this from the central office, but there are questions about what appears to be a systemic issue here in many of the the counties 28 public high schools where theyre basically changing grades and allowing kids to miss a lot of and so the County School system is working on a report to detail to the state delegation what theyre going to do to fix this. The first step of that is this meeting here this morning, and again, dr. Maxwell will not be here but says hell meet with state lawmakers from Prince Georges County as early as next week. Guys . Why this years flu is so severe much thats the question were asking. How easily is the flu virus spread and if you havent gotten the flu shot yet, is it too late . Is it even effective . You told us why earlier this morning but just again why is it so bad this year. So two fold reason. Very vier crew length virus h3n2 sub type of flu that happens to be a strong version of the virus, and then secondly, the vaccine is not quite as effective as i think the c d. C. Would like it to be running about 30 efficacy. Were still recommending that everybody get their vaccine. That are high risk the elderly, the young, people had are immuno compromise it could be the difference between life and death. Number two, even if you still get the flu it a ten weights the flu makes the flu less severe. You get back to work easier quicker so it is its a no brainer. Okay. Absolutely communicate well with your physician. I think thats just good advice. Generally speaking, most people can handle at home with just over the counter remedies. If youre having shone breath, fever, for more than three or four days. Really severe symptoms. Severe symptoms you may need to seek Emergency Care in the Emergency Department urgent care would be residential as well. Also speak to your physician about tamiflu one of the treatments for the flu and that shortens the duration of the flu. People who evacuated have returned to their homes to assess the damage. Next up, Maryland Police are looking for a man set up a spy cam in family restroom at white marsh mall. Ive always im a big believer in carpal m weve all been on both sides. Keep it respectful and be as nice and kinds as you can. At pun point you really enjoyed that persons company. Thats good point you need to remember that. At one point, you know, such a fine line between love and hate sometimes. Such a thin line. Both intense emotions. Yes. Its also important to keep in mine this time of year try to avoid the week of valentines day or on valentines day. It stings a little bet more. Really. So that can be vary a little bit depending on the situation and the reason for the break upper happens but again you want to start it out, you know, really letting them know maybe you enjoyed spending time together but youre not compatible or longterm fit or addressing the root we didnt have communication or things its helpful to verbalize the reason why youre breaking up that gives the other person closure, too. Is it better idea to put it on yourself like really this relationship just wasnt good for me as opposed to, you sorry no, just kidding. [ laughter ] keep it nice. I think its okay to address the reasons why the break up did happen but, yeah, own some of it because usually it does take two to tango throughout the whole relationship including when the relationship is ending and not going well. So do you the break up. How quick physical youre back on the saddle . It can depend is some people might have been testing the waters before the break up. Dont verbalize that problem. Things not to bring up. If right. Was this a three month little shortterm thing. Somebody youve been dating for five years theres a loft couldnt tech needed for that. How people kind of, you know, deal with the pain of the break up varies as well. What about the break up of the friends. Friends. Right. Im a big cleaver to make eight clean break. You dont need to interject yourself in their life you dont need to hang out with their friends. Youre breaking up with them for reason of the its called a break up for reason. Make it clean. No late night texting. Avoid it. Avoid it. What about the whole like cant we just be friends . It takes time. Right. Im curious what you take from them on a massive is hick civil war or Winter Soldier and utilize on tv show . Because tv is really golden age but its epic on the grand scale. Those movies are massive. But they still move really fast. Like tv, you know, it wasnt like, you know, we were doing like hour and a half long setups like the Russo Brothers got it done. When you hear the word legend and you know that you are one of the innovators of hiphop, and your name is in the marquis forever a day and for perpetuity what does that moan to you . Well for me it mean that its a responsibility so i always try to tell the other artists, you know, to, you know, be true to your creativity, try to put out something that makes a difference and not just make money. Because you know you can make money but that dont mean you made impact, you know, theres difference between money and impact. I like that. Its integrity. You know what i mean . If somebody say legend i sometimes say i dt of legend i think of chuck brown. Right, right. You understand . Thats legend. For me i just hope to be as great or as good as the ones that they consider legends. I think a lot people say you are there. I appreciate it. You are amazing and definitely you keep doing such positive things. Im wonder wagon do you think about hiphop today . We asked that always of people who come in who have been legends havent really changed the game. What do you think of it today . I know some of the young ones do music coming out now. He type of i think that i think that, like, all of us who we were ten years ago are not who we are now. So i think that instead of being critical of being hard on the are a tests i think we got to definitely tell them when theyre not right but we got to watch them evolve. Absolutely. So in saying that, i think hiphop today is in a state where it has to continue to evolve because the music is kind of like the same. But i think that it will go well. I mean we got some new stuff coming you out. I just marvin sap. A little gospel. Inspirational. Marvin came over to the hiphop side. Wow. I came over to his side. Those kind of collaborations that i think make hiphop special. So i think the new artists that are out right now need to get together and do stuff with mixtures and not just the same. I got a call from kendrick lamar. He wanteed to something with Stevie Wonder and needed to reach him. So when he called me, put him with Stevie Wonder. But thats the collaboration. I like when genres melt because then you get a Cross Section of people sampling music they may not ordinarily listen to. Thats what hiphop special.
