A DEVOTED son has raised more than £5,000 in memory of his mother who was an inspiration and good friend to many people. Lynne Lamb was known to many as the landlady of the Walnut pub in Rhosddu and as the colleague with an infectious laugh at the M&S store in Wrexham. She passed away aged 61 after battling cancer twice. Lynne Lamb with her son Stephen. During her illness, Lynne and her family developed a close relationship with staff, supporters and other patients at the Shooting Star unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. It inspired Lynne's son Stephen to launch a fundraiser in her memory for his thirtieth birthday with a target of £100.
