Its aairly large residential building, 12 floors. We did have heavy fire coming from the balcony upon our arrival. It started around 5 15. We did call for some reinforcements. Right now we have three alarms worth of personnel and equipment on the scene. Over 100 firefighters. Butha w evacuated some of the portions of the building. Ninthe fire was on the floor. There was some extension into some other apartments. And the fireup went as well, so we have heavy smoke conditions on upper floors. We evacuated. We assisted people from the building. But we are able to shelter people in the building. Its cold but we are able to im not aware of any serious injury. We have ems a crews that evaluate something residents. But im not aware of any serious injury at this point. The bulk of the fire has been knocked down. I think brad had a good assessment, theres something on the balcony causing fuel f the fire. It probably is a grill. For most p ot the bulkthe fire has been knocked down. Everyone has been accounted for at this point .
