take a look at thehe l cone of uncertainty. the storm, the center of the storm can really travel anywhere in between those two white lines. but notice that now it is staying out to sea. it is not clipping the yucatan peninsula areas like cancun. so, as it entered the warmer waters of the gulf, that will help to feed the storm and likely increase it to a category 1 hurricane later tomorrow, very early sunday. you can see as it makes land fall, likely somewhere around louisiana or mississippi, so parts of louis-dreyfus lieu, mississippi, the alabama and florida coast line really under the gun with this storm. the biggest concern will be storm surge flooding. take a look as it continues to move toward the north, northeast eventually. and then get this easterly component impacting our area on monday. here we are looking at rain, not seeing a lot of wind in the forecast, but it could be a weather alert day. more on the impacts from nate coming up. now to doug >> thank you, it has been 12 hours since a violent attack in a montgomery county neighborhood. until police find the suspect, residents there remain on edge. a woman waiting for the bus on watkins mill road at travis lane here was pulled into the woods and sexually assaulted. chopper 4 shot this video of police shortly after they launched their investigation. news 4's chris gordon is there live now. what have you learned, chris? >> reporter: well, jim, within the past hour we watched detectives focus on this ride-on bus stop for the second time today, and then enter these woods where the victim was dragged against her will. police say she tried to fight off the stranger who overpowered her. this evening, detectives returning to the woods where the victim was attacked. police are calling it a sexual assault, a possible rape. they are collecting evidence they hope will lead them to the man who grabbed the woman at this bus stopt assaulted her, and then ran off. police say the victim is physically injured and traumatized. >> right now our detectives are still trying to interview her, obtain information about the suspect and we are trying to identify him. >> reporter: local resident christine washington says she is keeping a close eye on her young children. she is shaken by the attack which occurred across the street from her home. >> actually just watch where we have to gi told my older son to be careful. if you have to catch the bus, because obviously it's not safe any more. >> reporter: she's not the only one in fear this evening. are you at all concerned for your safety? >> yes, absolutely. honestly, yes. it is surprising to hear and definitely will make me take more caution. >> reporter: police have a general description of the suspect they believe is responsible for the attack at this bus stop. they say it's a young man in his 20s wearing a dark checkered shirt or jacket and they are asking anyone in the public who may have passed this bus stop on watkins mill road in gaithersburg this morning between 5:30 and 6:00 to give them a call. that's the latest live in gaithersburg. jim, back to you. >> and that's a busy area there. all right, chris, thanks so much. now to the latest from las vegas where investigators are trying to figure out if someone else may have been in the gunman's hotel room when he stayed at the mandalay bay resort. crews repaired the windows, the two windows he shot out. stephen paddock had smashed out those windows sunday night. senior law enforcement officials tell nbc news there are two things they are trying to figure out now. inside that hotel room, a charger that didn't match any of the gunman's cell phones. and they also say garage records show that in a time when paddock's vehicle left the hotel garage, one of his key cards was used to get into the room. meanwhile, a line of cro vegas sign in memory of the 58 people who were gunned down. each of them made by the same guy who did a similar memorial for the victims of that orlando night club shooting. months of planning, more than 100 shots fired and today we are getting a more detailed picture of the chaos that unfolded during the gop baseball practice in alexandria last june. those details came in a 40-page report from the commonwealth's attorney in alexandria. news 4's mark segraves breaks down that new time line. >> reporter: 66-year-old james hodgkinson began experiencing financial problems back in 2016 according to the report. he told family members he didn't think he had long to live. hodgkinson left his home in illinois in march telling his family he was going to washington, d.c. to protest and to talk about taxes. police found video on his cell phone of the baseball field that witnesses say they s that baseball field in may, and again he was seen at the practice the day before the shooting. the commonwealth's attorney says it's likely hodgkinson picked the baseball field in alexandria as his target as early as april. the report goes into great detail about the attack. detailing how house majority whip steve scalise was the first person to be shot. then matthew micah, a lobbyist was shot in the chest. the third victim, zachary barth, a congressional staffer was shot in his leg as he tried to take cover. the report also walks us through the exchange of gun fire between hodgkinson and the alexandria police officers and capital police officers, including how the suspect continued to fire on police after being shot once and how police ultimately pinned the gunman down behind a dugout where two officers were able to shoot him ag family members of james hodgkinson told investigators they had been in semi regular contact for the few months he was living in his truck in the alexandria area and two days before the shooting he told his family he was ready to return to illinois. in the newsroom, mark segraves, news 4. >> mark, thank you. congressman scalise continues his road to recovery and he will throw out the first pitch at tonight's playoff game between the nats and the chicago cubs. that first pitch scheduled to happen just about two hours from now. wendy is out at the ballpark for us this evening. that's going to be quite a moment, wendy. >> it is going to be a great moment. everything tonight is going to be great. i'm going to go back to captain obvious. captain obvious, he's my teleprompter guy. give me -- this is game one. strassburg is a pitcher. and jayson werth has a beard. thank you very much. see? [doorbell] can somebody get that? uh uh, not me baby! i told you not to marry her. it's mommy time! seriously?! alright. who's next? the columbus day sale is on now. havertys. life looks good leaving 21 people dead and now this storm is headed to mexico and our gulf coast. they are already boarding up in parts of alabama and there are some major concerns in new orleans tonight. let's head over to the storm center and amelia. amelia? >> yeah, the biggest concerns in new orleans, jim, will be storm surge flooding. already mandatory evacuations going on there. take a look, here's the latest tropical satellite. i circled nate so you can pick it up more easily. i think if this wasn't circled it would be difficult to see where is that storm right now. it is not a super organized storm. it likely, though, will strengthen to a category 1 hurricane tomorrow durk the day as it enters the warm gulf we head into the evening and overnight hours tonight. as we look at our gulf coast, take a look, all the colors you are seeing here are hurricane watches or wrn warnings or tropical storm watches or warnings and flood concerns as well. the biggest concerns will be from areas like new orleans out toward mobile, alabama and over towards the pensacola area. that's where we're really going to focus on nate having the biggest impacts. not just with storm surge flooding but also winds and a lot of heavy rain potentially as well. the storm is moving so fast and that's good news. it's not just going to sit in one place, dumping down copious amounts of rainfall. tomorrow here at home it's dry, it's partly sunny, it's nice, a bit breezy. 84 for a high. sunday it's not a wash out by any means. some light showers are possible at times. otherwise plenty of clouds and cooler with that increase in cloud cover, around 79 degrees, and nate impacts our area here on monday for columbus day with some monday from nate cld see some w storm, we're going to keep a close eye on how nate continues to evolve monday, potentially becoming a weather alert day. and that would be for the rainfall. just kind of bringing a nuisance to the day having the day off. but everybody looking forward to the nats game tonight, doug. you're down at the ballpark. it's a little warm, but i love the excitement i'm seeing. >> it's perfect right now. the sun is starting to go down behind the cloeds. we're in the shade. it is beautiful. look, they have the gates open right now. and i think it really underscores the very negative political rhetoric that is out around the country. >> reporter: concerned irs workers recently contacted the news 4 i-team about the increased activity outside. irs security acknowledged concerns from the hotel in an e-mail last year, the i-team has learned. saying the hotel poses a vulnerability and threat to the security of the irs building, that it compromised sight lines, and emergency evacuations, and cars and taxis are unscreened by canines. that w garage adjacent to the irs building itself. our cameras never see them check under the hood or around the vehicle. the irs declined to speak on camera about this, but said it works well with trump hotel security, monitors security constantly and the e-mail from last year doesn't reflect the current situation. >> the agency has always been a target. tax collectors have always been targets since tax collecting began. >> reporter: marco ens understand the worries of employees of irs headquarters. he worked there and was staukd by a disgruntled taxpayer who staukd him outside. when you worked at headquarters, you did hear about people trying to breach the main office? >> of course, yes. when an employee or office is threatened we dispatch h.s. >> reporter: tim is with the office of inspector general which investigates threats and provides armed security for employees who are headquarters. >> who are going to be the individuals participating, do they pose a threat 1234 and we try to understand what their philosophy is. >> reporter: owens says the agency responds well to threats. >> as long as your name is visible, you are a potential target. >> reporter: sadly, a part of the job for irs workers no matter what's next door. scott macfarlane, news 4 as doug has been mentioning at nats park this evening. take a look at your ten-day forecast. there's that 60% for some light showers at times in the area on sunday. a high of 79. it's also muggy on sunday. still humid on monday. there is a better chance of rain on monday. then notice we dip into the 70s, jim, with more rain chances wednesday, thursday and friday of next week. >> all right, my yard is pretty darn crunchy so i'm happy to hear that, amelia. thank you. crooks are going after easy targets. parked cars. prince george's county has seen 50 car break-ins in just the last two days. and news 4's kristin wright found out they're not just taking the stuff inside the rides. they are snatching what's on the outside, too. >> reporter: busted windows, shattered glass, thieves taking what they want from cars in prince george's county. almost 50 thefts in two days, these pictures from break-ins over the past six months. it keeps happening. they smash-and-grab cell phones, electronics, or all four tires and rims. >> i couldn't see so i tried to kick it out of the way. it was a brick. >> reporter: we call him kevin. he doesn't want to show his face on camera, but refuses to sit quietly on this one. he feels violated. >> i'm a hard working guy, you know. and for somebody to come through in the middle of the night to take something i work hard for, it's, i don't know, man, it's sad. >> reporter: we found broken glass scattered outside of apartments in largo. police tell me thieves broke into a car here. they also hit a complex in lanham where some people are leaving items in plain sight or doors unlocked. it's pretty common. we went to corporal tyler it, lock it, keep it. basically we need your help to try to put an end to these crimes. >> reporter: for kevin, he bought this honda not even two months ago. his first brand-new car. >> i bought it six miles off the lot. it had six miles when i purchased it. so just for that to be my first experience with a brand-new car, you know, but it is what it is. >> reporter: new tires and new rims as we speak. police tell me these thefts are happening all over the county so they don't necessarily think storm nate makes land fall. >> the mayor of new orleans just ordered residents to evacuate and here's why. nate already killed more than 20 people in costa rica, dangerous flooding and land slides. now nate is zeroing in on the u.s. >> people on the alabama coast are tying things down on their decks. offshore oil rigs are shutting down and evacuating. meteorologist amelia draper is tracking nate for us this evening and the potential impact here at home. amelia. >> yeah, exactly, leon. we are also hearing of some mandatory evacuations for parts of new orleans. here's the latest on nate. maximum winds sustained at 60 miles an hour. it is moving to the north, north wels and look at the speed. this is really fast for a storm like this. 21 miles an hour. so, it is racing along. thankfully with that quick speed, we're not going to see any area in the gufrl necessarily pickup a lot of water so the concern then shifts to storm surge flooding and strong gusty winds. here is the latest track. and notice these white lines, the cone of uncertainty. and the cone of uncertainty means where the storm can travel, the eye. the latest track keeps the eye off the yucatan peninsula out of so as it enters the warmer inte least to a category 1 hurricane as it makes land fall early sunday, somewhere in louisiana, mississippi and alabama coast line. again, storm surge flooding will be the concern there. it then continues up toward our area, bringing us rain here on monday. the impacts here, some much needed rain. likely around an inch or less. we could see a little bit more, but i'm not seeing enough right now to lead to flooding concerns here so some good news. we could see some wind. monday might be a storm team 4 weather alert day due to nate and it would be from the rain, take a look at thehe l cone of uncertainty. the storm, the center of the storm can really travel anywhere in between those two white lines. but notice that now it is staying out to sea. it is not clipping the yucatan peninsula areas like cancun. so, as it entered the warmer waters of the gulf, that will help to feed the storm and likely increase it to a category 1 hurricane later tomorrow, very early sunday. you can see as it makes land fall, likely somewhere around louisiana or mississippi, so parts of louis-dreyfus lieu, mississippi, the alabama and florida coast line really under the gun with this storm. the biggest concern will be storm surge flooding. take a look as it continues to move toward the north, northeast eventually. and then get this easterly component impacting our area on monday. here we are looking at rain, not seeing a lot of wind in the forecast, but it could be a weather alert day. more on the impacts from nate coming up. now to doug >> thank you, it has been 12 hours since a violent attack in a montgomery county neighborhood. until police find the suspect, residents there remain on edge. a woman waiting for the bus on watkins mill road at travis lane here was pulled into the woods and sexually assaulted. chopper 4 shot this video of police shortly after they launched their investigation. news 4's chris gordon is there live now. what have you learned, chris? >> reporter: well, jim, within the past hour we watched detectives focus on this ride-on bus stop for the second time today, and then enter these woods where the victim was dragged against her will. police say she tried to fight off the stranger who overpowered her. this evening, detectives returning to the woods where the victim was attacked. police are calling it a sexual assault, a possible rape. they are collecting evidence they hope will lead them to the man who grabbed the woman at this bus stopt assaulted her, and then ran off. police say the victim is physically injured and traumatized. >> right now our detectives are still trying to interview her, obtain information about the suspect and we are trying to identify him. >> reporter: local resident christine washington says she is keeping a close eye on her young children. she is shaken by the attack which occurred across the street from her home. >> actually just watch where we have to gi told my older son to be careful. if you have to catch the bus, because obviously it's not safe any more. >> reporter: she's not the only one in fear this evening. are you at all concerned for your safety? >> yes, absolutely. honestly, yes. it is surprising to hear and definitely will make me take more caution. >> reporter: police have a general description of the suspect they believe is responsible for the attack at this bus stop. they say it's a young man in his 20s wearing a dark checkered shirt or jacket and they are asking anyone in the public who may have passed this bus stop on watkins mill road in gaithersburg this morning between 5:30 and 6:00 to give them a call. that's the latest live in gaithersburg. jim, back to you. >> and that's a busy area there. all right, chris, thanks so much. now to the latest from las vegas where investigators are trying to figure out if someone else may have been in the gunman's hotel room when he stayed at the mandalay bay resort. crews repaired the windows, the two windows he shot out. stephen paddock had smashed out those windows sunday night. senior law enforcement officials tell nbc news there are two things they are trying to figure out now. inside that hotel room, a charger that didn't match any of the gunman's cell phones. and they also say garage records show that in a time when paddock's vehicle left the hotel garage, one of his key cards was used to get into the room. meanwhile, a line of cro vegas sign in memory of the 58 people who were gunned down. each of them made by the same guy who did a similar memorial for the victims of that orlando night club shooting. months of planning, more than 100 shots fired and today we are getting a more detailed picture of the chaos that unfolded during the gop baseball practice in alexandria last june. those details came in a 40-page report from the commonwealth's attorney in alexandria. news 4's mark segraves breaks down that new time line. >> reporter: 66-year-old james hodgkinson began experiencing financial problems back in 2016 according to the report. he told family members he didn't think he had long to live. hodgkinson left his home in illinois in march telling his family he was going to washington, d.c. to protest and to talk about taxes. police found video on his cell phone of the baseball field that witnesses say they s that baseball field in may, and again he was seen at the practice the day before the shooting. the commonwealth's attorney says it's likely hodgkinson picked the baseball field in alexandria as his target as early as april. the report goes into great detail about the attack. detailing how house majority whip steve scalise was the first person to be shot. then matthew micah, a lobbyist was shot in the chest. the third victim, zachary barth, a congressional staffer was shot in his leg as he tried to take cover. the report also walks us through the exchange of gun fire between hodgkinson and the alexandria police officers and capital police officers, including how the suspect continued to fire on police after being shot once and how police ultimately pinned the gunman down behind a dugout where two officers were able to shoot him ag family members of james hodgkinson told investigators they had been in semi regular contact for the few months he was living in his truck in the alexandria area and two days before the shooting he told his family he was ready to return to illinois. in the newsroom, mark segraves, news 4. >> mark, thank you. congressman scalise continues his road to recovery and he will throw out the first pitch at tonight's playoff game between the nats and the chicago cubs. that first pitch scheduled to happen just about two hours from now. wendy is out at the ballpark for us this evening. that's going to be quite a moment, wendy. >> it is going to be a great moment. everything tonight is going to be great. i'm going to go back to captain obvious. captain obvious, he's my teleprompter guy. give me -- this is game one. strassburg is a pitcher. and jayson werth has a beard. thank you very much. see? [doorbell] can somebody get that? uh uh, not me baby! i told you not to marry her. it's mommy time! seriously?! alright. who's next? the columbus day sale is on now. havertys. life looks good leaving 21 people dead and now this storm is headed to mexico and our gulf coast. they are already boarding up in parts of alabama and there are some major concerns in new orleans tonight. let's head over to the storm center and amelia. amelia? >> yeah, the biggest concerns in new orleans, jim, will be storm surge flooding. already mandatory evacuations going on there. take a look, here's the latest tropical satellite. i circled nate so you can pick it up more easily. i think if this wasn't circled it would be difficult to see where is that storm right now. it is not a super organized storm. it likely, though, will strengthen to a category 1 hurricane tomorrow durk the day as it enters the warm gulf we head into the evening and overnight hours tonight. as we look at our gulf coast, take a look, all the colors you are seeing here are hurricane watches or wrn warnings or tropical storm watches or warnings and flood concerns as well. the biggest concerns will be from areas like new orleans out toward mobile, alabama and over towards the pensacola area. that's where we're really going to focus on nate having the biggest impacts. not just with storm surge flooding but also winds and a lot of heavy rain potentially as well. the storm is moving so fast and that's good news. it's not just going to sit in one place, dumping down copious amounts of rainfall. tomorrow here at home it's dry, it's partly sunny, it's nice, a bit breezy. 84 for a high. sunday it's not a wash out by any means. some light showers are possible at times. otherwise plenty of clouds and cooler with that increase in cloud cover, around 79 degrees, and nate impacts our area here on monday for columbus day with some monday from nate cld see some w storm, we're going to keep a close eye on how nate continues to evolve monday, potentially becoming a weather alert day. and that would be for the rainfall. just kind of bringing a nuisance to the day having the day off. but everybody looking forward to the nats game tonight, doug. you're down at the ballpark. it's a little warm, but i love the excitement i'm seeing. >> it's perfect right now. the sun is starting to go down behind the cloeds. we're in the shade. it is beautiful. look, they have the gates open right now. real donald trump tweeting about you. thursday night the president backing virginia's republican candidate for governor ed gillespie tweeting ralph northam who is running for governor of virginia is fighting for the violent ms-13 diller gangs and sanctuary cities. vote ed gillespie. we caught up with ralph northam who has repeatedly said virginia has no sanctuary cities. when you saw it what did you make of it? he a to accus ganginia as a pediatrician who is taking care of sick children and their families all of my adult life and to be a veteran of the united states army, i think it's just someone that doesn't understand who i am. >> reporter: unavailable for an in-person interview, ed gillespie addressed the tweet on a conference call with reporters telling us, he wasn't surprised that a republican president is endorsing a republican candidate for governor. the tweet has got more than 19,000 retweets, but when asked why his handle wasn't one of them, gillespie noted that the president has 40 million twitter followers. he didn't see a need for a retweet. but what exactly provoked the president to send it out? gillespie said, quote, i saw it come up on my iphone and my thought was, my ads must be running in d.c. indeed, they are. >> ralph northam, weak on ms 13, putting virginia families at risk. >> reporter: the issue of gangs is one the republican candidate is d.c. perhaps in the nation. not all visitors to the trump international intend to rest, or relax. since opening a year ago, the hotel emblazoned with the president's name has attracted protests large reporter: he said the weapons were in his car parked in the hotel garage by a valet. he pleaded not guilty, but was arrested for antisocial media watching this vi government workers who work just across the street just steps away, the government workers who work for an agency that already receives more threats than any other in the government, the workers here at the irs. tony rear don heads the union representing irs employees. what did you think when a man was arrested with a cache of weapons, 90 rounds of ammo across the street from your workers at irs headquarters? >> it was alarming. and i think it really underscores the very negative political rhetoric that is out around the country. >> reporter: concerned irs workers recently contacted the news 4 i-team about the increased activity outside. irs security acknowledged concerns from the hotel in an e-mail last year, the i-team has learned. saying the hotel poses a vulnerability and threat to the security of the irs building, that it compromised sight lines, and emergency evacuations, and cars and taxis are unscreened by canines. that w garage adjacent to the irs building itself. our cameras never see them check under the hood or around the vehicle. the irs declined to speak on camera about this, but said it works well with trump hotel security, monitors security constantly and the e-mail from last year doesn't reflect the current situation. >> the agency has always been a target. tax collectors have always been targets since tax collecting began. >> reporter: marco ens understand the worries of employees of irs headquarters. he worked there and was staukd by a disgruntled taxpayer who staukd him outside. when you worked at headquarters, you did hear about people trying to breach the main office? >> of course, yes. when an employee or office is threatened we dispatch h.s. >> reporter: tim is with the office of inspector general which investigates threats and provides armed security for employees who are headquarters. >> who are going to be the individuals participating, do they pose a threat 1234 and we try to understand what their philosophy is. >> reporter: owens says the agency responds well to threats. >> as long as your name is visible, you are a potential target. >> reporter: sadly, a part of the job for irs workers no matter what's next door. scott macfarlane, news 4 i-team. >> we did reach out to trump international, but didn't hear back. the i-team also found a sharp increase in threats at another federal agency in our area, the epa. that part of a live look at the firsthand look tonight at the hurricane damage in u.s. -- in the u.s. virgin islands. he's the first top member of the trump administration to visit since hurricane maria devastated the islands. earlier today, vice-president and second lady met with service members. they also handed out supplies at the church. the they pledged support to the island until the island recovers fully. he is also touring puerto rico to system. this one we're on the endamels. >> yeah, and it certainly has been an active hurricane season so far, jim. we've had five major hurricanes this season. on average, we have about two to three, and the major hurricane means a category 3 storm or higher. take a look at your weather headlines here at home. it's dry tonight. it's dry tomorrow. it's going to be really nice tomorrow, especially if you've been liking our weather lately. pretty much a carbon copy. we'll just add in a breeze for your saturday afternoon. some showers around on sunday, some light showers by no means is sunday a wash out. in fact, i think most of the day will be dry. there is a better chance that you're dealing with rain on monday. monday's rain will be from what's left of nate at that point. some beneficial rain, today is the 23rd day in a row we have not had any measurable rainfall here in washington and then the good news as we look to next week, more rain chances and, get this, some hints of fall actually in the forecast. currently our temperatures interest in the 70s and 80s. tomorrow we start off the day very 67 deees, a high of 84, and again you will notice the breeze during the afternoon and early evening hours. great baseball weather again tomorrow. the game a little bit earlier, but even as it's wrapping up, really nice, warm though if your seats are in the sun as doug has been mentioning at nats park this evening. take a look at your ten-day forecast. there's that 60% for some light showers at times in the area on sunday. a high of 79. it's also muggy on yard is pretty darn crunchy so i'm happy to hear that, amelia. thank you. crooks are going after easy targets. parked cars. prince george's county has seen 50 car break-ins in just the last two days. and news 4's kristin wright found out they're not just taking the stuff inside the rides. they are snatching what's on the outside, too. >> reporter: busted windows, shattered glass, thieves taking what they want from cars in prince george's county. almost 50 thefts in two days, these pictures from break-ins over the past six months. it keeps happening. they smash-and-grab cell phones, electronics, or all four tires and rims. >> i couldn't see so i tried to kick it out of the way. it was a brick. >> reporter: we call him kevin. he doesn't want to show his face on camera, but refuses to sit quietly on this one. he feels violated. >> i'm a hard working guy, you know. and for somebody to come through in the middle of the night to take something i work hard for, it's, i don't know, man, it's sad. >> reporter: we found broken glass scattered outside of apartments in largo. police tell me thieves broke into a car here. they also hit a complex in lanham where some people are leaving items in plain sight or doors unlocked. it's pretty common. we went to corporal tyler it, lock it, keep it. basically we need your help to try to put an end to these crimes. >> reporter: for kevin, he bought this honda not even two months ago. his first brand-new car. >> i bought it six miles off the lot. it had six miles when i purchased it. so just for that to be my first experience with a brand-new car, you know, but it is what it is. >> reporter: new tires and new rims as we speak. police tell me these thefts are happening all over the county so they don't necessarily think there is a little known treasure that is off the beaten palth. we have to look inside that forgotte you think of smithsonian museums as buildings along our national mall. there is another one, though, a forgotten museum many locals don't even know about. the an cosacostia museum is the least visited of the smithsonians. it celebrates 50 years in our community. news 4's amee cho takes us inside this storm nate makes land fall. >> the mayor of new orleans just ordered residents to evacuate and here's why. nate already killed more than 20 people in costa rica, dangerous flooding and land slides. now nate is zeroing in on the u.s. >> people on the alabama coast are tying things down on their decks. offshore oil rigs are shutting down and evacuating. meteorologist amelia draper is tracking nate for us this evening and the potential impact here at home. amelia. >> yeah, exactly, leon. we are also hearing of some mandatory evacuations for parts of new orleans. here's the latest on nate. maximum winds sustained at 60 miles an hour. it is moving to the north, north wels and look at the speed. this is really fast for a storm like this. 21 miles an hour. so, it is racing along. thankfully with that quick speed, we're not going to see any area in the gufrl necessarily pickup a lot of water so the concern then shifts to storm surge flooding and strong gusty winds. here is the latest track. and notice these white lines, the cone of uncertainty. and the cone of uncertainty means where the storm can travel, the eye. the latest track keeps the eye off the yucatan peninsula out of so as it enters the warmer inte least to a category 1 hurricane as it makes land fall early sunday, somewhere in louisiana, mississippi and alabama coast line. again, storm surge flooding will be the concern there. it then continues up toward our area, bringing us rain here on monday. the impacts here, some much needed rain. likely around an inch or less. we could see a little bit more, but i'm not seeing enough right now to lead to flooding concerns here so some good news. we could see some wind. monday might be a storm team 4 weather alert day due to nate and it would be from the rain,
