One person, a man in his 30s was killed in one of the vehicles. Two others were taken to the hospital. One is in critical condition. The other is stable. The city placing flyers on cars warning drivers you need to move those cars. Parkting will be prohibited from the northbound and southbound median areas. Police are calling on all 21 districts to identify those hot spots where they could expect some out of control behavior. One of them is here. Frankfort near cottman. In fact i saw police hanging signs on posts around here. Starting at 3 00 today parking will be banned. No one parking from here 3 00 this afternoon until 3 00 tomorrow morning. The goal really is to just prevent the raucous behavior they saw back in 2008 with the philadelphia world series. Now businesses here are taking precautions, theyre being advised to remove anything that could be moved. There are some businesses that we spoke to last night that are preparing but theyre also going to stay open. Well see how things play out. Well see what they had to say. They told us they are going to stay open. They are going to take a waitandsee approach and see whether in fact they will have some raucous behavior out here.
