we begin this noon with an accuweather alert. are you looking live at the soggy scene at philadelphia international airport. we have been dealing with rain all morning and it is not stopping any time soon. it's friday afternoon and rick and sara are off. i'm alicia vitarelli. >> and i'm gray hall. the other big story we are following this noon is the farewell to a fallen hero. family and friends and colleagues are paying respects to lieutenant matt letourneau. the 42-year-old was killed last saturday as they battled arow home fire in south philadelphia. amy mccormick joins us. >> reporter: that is right. the mourners are braving this heavy rain to come out here and pay their respects. more than 1,000 people are estimated to be in attendance today. and they are in the basilica both sitting and standing and they have opened the chapel next door to accommodate everyone. >> inside of the funeral mass for philadelphia firefighter 42-year-old lieutenant, matt letourneau, mourners came to sew their support and honor the 11 year veteran of the department and his family. >> matt is not gone, he has simply gone ahead. he has gone ahead and joined a company of other heroes. >> it was before the mass that the impressive procession came through the city. the casket rode on top of engine 35 where he worked. they carried his casket and side of the basilica for his final viewing and funeral. not far behind the hat letourneau war, running into burning buildings was also brought inside. it was last saturday he ran into a two alarm fire in south philadelphia and was pinned by falling rubble and later pronounced dead. at least 1,000 people are expected to attend the mass, some came from fire departments across the country. it's not lost on the fire department. >> it makes my heart feel good to see that. so many people out here brothers and sisters that support us and think of us and keep us in their prayers. >> and there are a number of firefighters out here from springfield, delaware county because it was with that fire company in springfield where letourneau began his career back in high school. today he will be taken to delaware county and that is where he milder air, some spots this morning tying or breaking the records. in allentown this morning. had a record high of 63. same thing in reading and up in the poconos this morning a record high temperature of 58. we'll talk about what to expect through the rest of today, and right through saturday some key take away points. tot total rainfall a half inch to inch. and localized street flooding is a concern, we are not tracking major river flooding but temperatures into the saturday are crashing as we get into the afternoon and 30s tomorrow. we'll have details in the full presenting a bipartisan immigration deal. one man is recovering after being shot and injured after he tried to stop a robbery at a barbershop. that played out last night at harrison's hair staling on 22nd street. two men walked in with the gun and a 27-year-old customer tried to fight them off and he was shot in the chest and leg and the police arrested a suspect a block away and the other suspect happen next. >> well, the patient was discharged again but this time put in a cab and sent to a home it's shelter, according to her mother she is mentally hill and getting the care that she needs. a bizarre case of pollution is making people sick in pennsylvania. piles of white foam is floating down the roads and stuck in trees and filling up a local creek. they took a sample and believe it's outside stormtracker 6 live double scan radar you can see the pockets of heavy rain right now in philadelphia also to the northern and west for allentown reading and lancaster, we go in tighter on treat level to the northwest suburbs and lehigh valley county allentown earlier today. had a record high of 63. slatington dealing with moderate pockets of rain and same to the south and west for kutztown and quakertown and green lane and doylestown moderate pockets of moisture. and now closer to the i-95 corridor you see the moisture pressing from the northwest to southeast direction into philadelphia and rain for jenkin town and media and chester, and interior sections of south jersey and we are on and off the moisture throughout the day. and sky 6 hd. looking at the ben franklin 7:30 in the evening we are tracking the moisture and watch what happens overnight tonight into saturday morning. 4:00 in the morning, this model is showing some mixed precipitation for northern lehigh valley county and northern berks up through the poconos that is a concern and in fact the national weather service issued a winter weather advisory 1:00 a.m. non-10:00 a.m. on saturday from the poconos to lancaster county because that cold air rushes on in early in the morning some spots north and west could be close to the freezing mark. and here is the change as we get into saturday. 2:00 in the morning up to 60 degrees and 59 at 4:00 in the morning and watch what happens they start to crash throughout the day and we level out into the 30s into our saturday afternoon and something to
