The bill now headed to the desk of Governor Tom Wolf gives the liquor control board more power to crack down on Corner Stores that sell alcohol. The businesses have liquor licenses but often violate code when it comes to seating food sales and health licenses. The stop and go legislation would allow the liquor control board to immediately suspend licenses if stores are found to be in violation. This has not just happened overnight. Its been a problem for us for a long time and theres many members that have worked on this and were just glad to finally get this stuff get something to the governors desk that we believe will help us stall and fix this quality of life issue. After a warm and sunny few hours today, clouds have once again rolled in as we get a first check on the accuweather forecast. Meteorologist adam joseph is outside with the first check of the forecast. With that cloud cover this afternoon especially eastern areas those temperatures are much cooler than the last few days. As we take a look at those numbers as philadelphia took a dip here over the last 24 hours, monday it was 77 degrees, tuesday, yesterday 75, today dropping 10 degrees from that but thats where we should be this time of year, pretty close to our normal high of 64 degrees. As we look at the numbers, 64 allentown, reading, 66 wilmington, a little bit cooler to the south and east along the shore, temperatures there only in the lower 60s between about 61 and 63 degrees and its all because of the sky cover. In fact, if i look up right now, if i look to my east i see really dark clouds. If i look to my west, i see blue skies and you can philadelphia is right on the edge of that cloud cover with a lot of sunshine just to the west including the state of delaware and rain now well off the coast of new jersey so, in that full accuweather forecast well talk about the instability clouds tomorrow meaning there will be a lot of clouds because of the cooler air coming tomorrow but its a milder and finish to the week but a soaking windiy rain comes in for the eagles, looking nasty for the last half of the week. Well warm it up as we get towards the weekend and then a soaking storm for sunday. Well talk about it all, head to the Weather Center take a live look on sky6 of the Commodore Barry bridge. There you can see some of the clouds as you look more eastbound here and if you look at the top part of the screen theyre just to the i want to say east but its to the right there of the sky6 bug. Theres a little bit of blue up there and so you can see a glow along the bridge there and thats that sun in the western horizon where the clouds are lacking right now. As we look at some of these numbers, 66 in wilmington, thats the warmest spot right now. 65 which is the high so far of the day in philadelphia. And to the south and east temperatures there also in the lower 60s. Stepping out this evening for your planner here, hour by hour temperatures slowly falling into the upper 50s between 7 oclock and 8 oclock and then staying in the upper 50s at 9 oclock and then mid50s by 10, 11 oclock under partly cloudy skies so pretty nice evening for late october. Satellite and radar, theres that wedge of dry air, that sunshine just to the west of us, so, again, those western suburbs at philadelphia, the state of delaware, it is pretty bright right now, it is dark and ominous looking to the east with all the rain off the coast and there you can see some clouds marching in towards pittsburgh as well as State College and that is some very cool air above thats going to move in here tomorrow to kind of lock those clouds in for all of us especially in the afternoon. So, for tonight partly cloudy, seasonably cool, 43 allentown, 47 philadelphia. 44 degrees in dover. Day planner tomorrow will feature the lack of sun and a little heavier on the clouds side, so mostly cloudy with temperatures even cooler than today, upper 50s to around 60 is where were going to stop. By six, 8 oclock in the evening dropping back into the mid50s. When we look at the tropical satellite here, theres no main storm or named storm or something that is going to turn into a Tropical Storm but theres a lot of tropical moisture east of the nicaragua area south of the Cayman Islands and this is going to be injected into a cold front that will pass through here on sunday, so as we look at the chance of rain, we still need a decent amount of rain around here. Only a sprinkle possible tomorrow, 0 percent friday, saturday and then sunday we bump it up to 90 percent and again, this will be a true soaking rain, something we have not seen for several months around here. In fact, your four day at 4 00 forecast breezy, cool a sprinkle tomorrow, 60 degrees. Mostly sunny gorgeous friday, 65. Even better on saturday. Thats the pick of the weekend, 72. And heavy rain, if youre heading to the eagles game a pretty nasty day, 66. Well have much more on that system plus your sevenday forecast coming up in the next half hour, guys. All right, adam, thanks. Yeah. A rare piece of history has new home at the museum of the American Revolution in center city. This American Made sword has never been on display before.
