they say the operation helped fund family's lavish lifestyle. nine people have been charged including the alleged ringleader gary cray seen. cray ran on underground lottery location and made at least $3 million in illegal profits. his daughter son and nephew are among eight others charged in this case. gray hall will explain how this operation allegedly worked tonight at 5 o'clock. >> a gas leak caused a number of evacuations this afternoon in atlantic city. chopper6 was overhead as crews worked to cap the ruptured line at the intersection of tennessee and adriatic avenues. there are reports the line was punctured. residents in the area and students and staff from the new york avenue school were all evacuated for about an hour. they returned once south jersey gas got the leak under this minivan. investigators say the van was speeding when it hit a 57-year-old man on sunday night. the victim was killed as he was crossing the 2300 block of 67th street. police are looking for a gray dodge caravan or a chrysler town chrysler town and country. a security guard came under fire early this morning during an attempted robbery. two suspects approached the 2000 block of mckinley street in northeast philadelphia. then they fired shots at the guard. and also at responding officers who chased them down. the two suspects are now being questioned. luckily no one was hurt. >> a person had to be rescued following a car crash in camden county. chopper6 was over the scene along route 42 in gloucester township. now police tell "action news" the driver lost control and landed in the wooded area near coles road just about 8 o'clock this morning. rescue crews were called in to free a person trapped inside the vehicle. so far no word on the number or extent of injuries connected to this crash. >> well, excitement is building in south philadelphia as the 76ers get ready to make their home debut. >> joel embiid and the team hoping tonight brings them their first win of the weapons. 24-year-old randall drake had 20 guns, three explosive devices and more than 15 knives in his home. detectives initially went there to investigate a separate child pornography case but instead they discovered his dangerous stockpile along with notes on how to build bombs and also maps of two schools and a water treatment plant. drake is held in protective custody for a mental health evaluation. >> mike warren believes she's being falsely accused. sheila keen warren is behind bars in florida arrested for allegedly killing warren's first wife marlene. it was a case that sat cold well, there is some terrifying moments on board a school bus in north carolina when the front of the bus erupted in flames. the driver and 16 high schoolers on board had all rushed to safety right before this. they evacuated as soon as they smelled smoke. you can see the vehicle is gutted now with only the frame, ash and char left. investigators say the fire started in the engine. a special consultant is scheduled to inspect the bus on monday. >> chester county's largest mushroom growers is going global. based in kennett square they're building a new mushroom production facility in china. one of the companies owners joined county officials on the long trip to shanghai for a groundbreaking ceremony. the farm will allow them to sell its mushrooms in one of the world's biggest in the video but says she doesn't remember a thing because she was under the influence of xanax. >> nasa has dropped some fascinating news about the moon. scientists say new research suggests the moon was not always a dry airless rock. after studying old lunar samples nasa believes the moon was shrouded in an atmosphere thicker than mars with volcanoes glowing on the surface. researchers surmise it was made up of volcanic smoke that lasted about 70 million years. they say it's likely the source for some if not all of water detected on the moon. >> ♪ >> health check at 4 o'clock today, if you're don't forget if you ride the 11 trolley, you're not on those trolleys as of last night, you're on buses now instead for a little while. it's all because of track work going on in darby. meanwhile had an overturned vehicle crash in bucks county, 95 southbound right in the work zone at 413. that just cleared out but there are still some residual delays there as well. speeds in the 20's as you come southbound from route one but at this point the speeds on one southbound are actually worse. so i would stick with 95, just expect it to be a little bit slow. camera time. elsewhere on 95 here in fishtown hope you're enjoying that new northbound pavement. you're moving slowly over it this afternoon as you so often do coming out of the city during the afternoon commute. otherwise on the big picture speeds are pretty much normal. normal being 11 miles per hour on the schuylkill expressway, yeah, it's a busy friday afternoon. in hunting park, hunting park avenue is still blocked between seventh and ninth. that's a crash that brought down a pole there so taking some time to clear. on the pennsylvania turnpike there's a crash eastbound approaching norristown in the normally busy spot blocking the left lane so just 14 miles per hour coming east of valley forge and a really nasty crash in hatfield this afternoon. in fact a medical chopper has been called to the scene. you want to avoid vine street at edgewood drive and a few problems in delaware including a new crash on 95 southbound at mlk. just 11 miles per hour. stay on 495 southbound through the first state. we'll check it through so a south to southwesterly wind. warm with numbers in the 70's. we're a good 10 degrees above average but we will be tracking this trough of low pressure and a pattern change next week so cooler air funneling to the south from canada and we're tracking this trough that will work its way into our region as we get into tuesday and that is going to bring some steady if not heavy rain as
