It happened at 8 20 when a 55yearold dover man lost control of the chevy van pulling the car trailer in the northbound lanes. At some point the right rear tire of the chevy van blew out causing its driver to lose control and crossed the Center Median of route 1 and traveled into the southbound lane of route 1 and into the path of the tractor trailer driven by a 56yearold vineland, new jersey man. The driver was out of the vehicle when the Fire Department arrived. And they got him out. And it started to leak fuel and police immediately closed the high wa in both directions while cleanup got underway. This is more of a hazmat situation with the tanker truck spilling the fuel and its in the ditch on both sides. Environment alex perts are on the scene all day overseeing the cleanup.
