As soon as i saw him i picked him up and i grabbed him and i said where were you and you know what his words were . The policeman rescued me. Hes not really sure what happened. He just knows something happened. Reporter a Good Samaritan spotted marcus wandering all alone. Hes special needs he wasnt able to communicate and she simply called the cops and they put two and two together and they brought us back together. Reporter simmons said the school assured her that marcus got on to the bus. She called the bus company and they said they had no idea what happened to her son. She said the employs were rude. Not only am i upset that hes gone, but the company that had him couldnt care less. She even hung up on me. We called and went by their offices but were told the bus company had no comment. Weve learned from the philadelphia School District has a manifest. It appears that policy was not followed in this case. In a statement the district says our office of transportation has been in touch with the family about the incident and we will continue to work with our bus vendors, bus drivers and schools to ensure our students safe arrival after school. The land here on the north side of vine at 10th has long been vacant. Now the hope is the center will spur much more development in this part of town. Where gentrification is being encouraged but so far has not been at a rapid pace like other sections of philadelphia. This project alone generates 23 million a year in economic development, 900 jobs from this development. It just means more people will come and live in chinatown. Its moving very quickly to the north northwest 21 Miles Per Hour heading through the yucatan channel and once it hits the gulf of mexico it likely will get stronger as a category 1 hurricane making landfall saturday night someplace close to new orleans, perhaps southern mississippi, and then the remnants streaming up to the northeast right into the mid atlantic on monday.
