hospitalized with head and facial injuries. investigators say it happened on north hutchinson street between sunday night and monday morning, she said she was walking down the hallway who police call an intruder appeared from a closet door, took her by the hand and led her into the backyard. >> he physically assaulted her, she describes stomping to the abdomen and she kind of lost consciousness at that time. obviously she sustained severe facial injuries. >> officers took the girl to saint christophers hospital for children and is being treated for injuries to the face and internal injuries can the girl was not sexually assaulted. they have a person of interest but there are no arrests at this time. special victims unit is urging anyone to look out and be extra cautious until they make an at white marsh township. look for the emergency crews responding there and downed wires closing 322 this afternoon. still a vehicle fire on the northeast extension approaching quakertown taking out enough tropping a brief amount of heavy rain, not lingering to bring flood warnings to the region. as we look at the particular heat wave number three and day three of 90 plus, today we hit 90 degrees briefly this afternoon with a heat index coming in at 99 degrees but after the rain passes through this is what happens to the heat index. it falls to the 70s and 80s and ahead of that line, it feels like 95 in millville and 95 in atlantic city, and upper 90s in southern delaware that front is the dividing lightning of tropical air it's just the humidity and that really is what is the biggest the city and 74 in wilmington and 77 in allentown and still in the 80s where it is still dry at the present time and that is also where the heat index how it feels in the 90s at the present time for dover and millville and atlantic city, and falling into the 70s and 80s north and west and it doesn't feel comfortable in southwestern pennsylvania and it will take time to drop that humidity, that will happen as you go into the overnight hours any of those downpours or thunderstorms, 64 by tomorrow morn in allentown and 72 in philadelphia and low 70s at the shore and as we look at satellite and radar there is the front and as you see there are no yellow boxes anywhere from this vantage point down to the mid-atlantic it's a win win situation and breaking the humidity, and double scan live radar at 7:30 most of it is off the coast at that point, there could be a renegade downpour that pops behind the front but the big story is the clouds kirring out by 11:00 12:00 and that humidity really dropping off. your get away forecast for friday in the city, less humid tomorrow at 90 degrees, beautiful at the shore and breezy and sunny and 87 and only 80 in the poconos with that full sunshine, your full day at 4:00 forecast still 90 tomorrow like today, it will feel so much better with the humidity busted and then on saturday sunshine and late clouds will be popping around at 92 degrees and still low humidity and still hot on sunday and 90 degrees and a scorcher on monday as the humidity starts to pull back in at 93 with an afternoon thunderstorm and we are in heat wave at white marsh township. look for the emergency crews responding there and downed wires closing 322 this afternoon. still a vehicle fire on the northeast extension approaching quakertown taking out
