xarelto® is proven to treat and help reduce the risk of dvt and pe blood clots. xarelto® has also been proven to reduce the risk of stroke in people with afib, not caused by a heart valve problem. for people with afib currently well managed on warfarin, there is limited information on how xarelto® and warfarin compare in reducing the risk of stroke. i tried warfarin before, but the blood testing xarelto® has been prescribed more than 11 million times in the u.s. and that number's growing. like your guys' scores. with xarelto® there is no regular blood monitoring and no known dietary restrictions. treatment with xarelto® was the right move for us. ask your doctor about xarelto®. >> is there rain out there david? >> yes looking at stormtracker 6 live double scan it's hard to notice where it is but if i go in tighter by reading and west of reading we have showers creeping toward the east, and can you see in the last 10 minutes or so that one in lancaster county is beginning to bloom and form some of that yellow, that could be something that develops into a downpour over the next 30 minutes or so. reading appears to be close to the impact zone, as we look outside most of us are looking at clouds and sunny breaks as soon as you step outside you feel the humidity. 87 degrees and dew point in philadelphia has slipped out of the 70s to 68 and we still have 71 72 73 readings on the dew point scale, and winds out of the southwest at 10 miles per hour now. we are on the lookout for showers, some of which in this humid air mass could produce heavy downpours by 2:00 or 3:00 this afternoon some of these are beginning to pop, they may wind up not being this mumrous but they will have a lot of humid fuel to deal with when they do. you could see not only a thunderstorm that produces lightning and winds but the issue is the heavy downpour that could put down a lot of rain in a hurry on roadways and create quick ponding and puddling if you are in one of these, or in an area where the roads are wet slow it down, by 9:30 or 10:00 most of this is off the board the big issue with storms is the downpours moderate chance of lightning with these where you have thunder and strong winds i'm leaving at moderate risk and there is chatter out there that it might because of sheer volume of rain put out a brief gusty wind and it's not generally a day for severe weather, and 89 in philadelphia 83 in allentown and 84 in reading and down the shore low to mid-80s, ocean water temperature aas you see right here is pleasant, 74 degrees, i had a tweet from someone earlier in margate, are we going to get a storm, i can't guarantee it and it's a nice beach today for now. but if the skies get ominous and the rumble of thunder get off the beach. afternoon downpours are not out of the question here is how the numbers fall by 7:00, 84 and at 9:00, a low of 72. today muggy and humid and 89 and downpours are around and tomorrow humid and 87 and still muggy but in the afternoon and evening there could be drefrming thunderstorms but a better chance of strong storms. so downpours today and strong gusty downpour producing storms tomorrow and then friday and saturday we get the payoff the humidity is lower and still warm with a fair amount of sunshine but not as uncomfortable, sunday and hot and uncomfortable with another thunderstorm popping up. lets get back to
