Fraudulent work-from-home schemes, luring victims with promises of payment for simple tasks before coaxing them into making investments with the prospect of higher returns, are a common occurrence. Two individuals, operating from Prayagraj (UP) and Gopalgunj (Bihar), were apprehended by Gurgaon police. These individuals are linked to a staggering 2,700 cyber fraud complaints across various states, with the majority in UP, Rajasthan, and Telangana.
