TRAVEL agents in Worcester are disappointed with the latest travel list update from the government, as no new destinations have been added to England's green list. The new travel rules for England were released today (May 3), which meant Portugal will no longer be a holiday destination for Brits unless for essential reasons. Hopes for Malta and the Canaries to be deemed safe for travel also went down the drain for Worcester travel agents as no new additions to the green list were announced. Jennifer Lynch, general manager at Arrange My Escape on Mealcheapen Street, said: "We are obviously disappointed with today's update. It hasn't affected any of our customers on this occasion, however we have customers now a little concerned for travel for the remainder of the year. We were expecting to see countries such as some Greek islands, Malta and Menorca to make it onto the green list this time, but unfortunately this hasn't happened. Also, to see Portugal removed from the green list, has made it virtually impossible to travel anywhere without having to quarantine on return to the UK".
