Police in Atlantic County are warning the public not to touch anything that looks suspicious or out of place after two women went to the hospital after touching painter’s tape left on one of their vehicles. A woman told a Linwood Police Department officer on May 19 that she found a blue piece of painter’s tape on the rear window of her vehicle. The woman and her sister touched the tape and, based on how they felt, believed they may have been exposed to a dangerous substance. Officials adding, “It is unknown whether this is an isolated incident.”
