A woman was seriously injured in a crash on the A259 at Angmering Credit: Eddie Mitchell A 43-YEAR-OLD man was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving after a woman suffered serious injuries in a crash. A Peugeot 206 and an Audi A4 collided on the westbound A259 Roundstone Bypass at Angmering shortly after 2.20pm yesterday. Police and ambulance crews responded quickly to the incident and the road was closed for several hours as emergency teams worked at the scene. A passenger in the Audi, a 58-year-old woman, was taken to Worthing Hospital after sustaining serious head injuries in the crash, while the 22-year-old driver of the Audi and another passenger, a 22-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries.
