Woman sentenced, pleads guilty to false sex assault claim in Federal investigation Shutterstock A woman who entered a plea of “guilty” to a federal charge that said she had made a false accusation of sexual assault, has been sentenced to a time of incarceration. The 36-year-old woman was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson to 21 months imprisonment. Upon her release, the US Attorney’s office says the woman will serve 36 months of supervised release, and is ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment. The investigation into this case was conducted by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kerry Jacobson.
