Woman convicted of murder in 2019 stabbing death of boyfrien

The Jefferson County Bessemer Cutoff jury found Jammie LaJoyce Hughes guilty of murder in the slaying of 35-year-old Sidell Alstan Erskine. The jury rejected Hughes’s self-defense claim.
