They were rushed here to Jacobi Medical Centers level one trauma unit. Were told one is in critical condition. Two others in serious condition. Want to take you to video from an hour ago that shows a Family Member or friend, were not sure which, rushing into the er, frantic, no doubt, to talk to doctors about the condition of her loved one. We talked to a man inside the er when one of te workers was brought in on a stretcher. He said the man had burns to his arms and the Hospital Personnel mobilized quickly around the injured worker. Fdny commissioner speaking at the scene of the explosion described where the workers were amidst the rubble and the efforts by First Responders to save their lives. These victims had gotten out of the area of the explosion. Our folks found them. One was more seriously injured than the other two. A solid line of steady rain and embedded thunderstorms now moving through eastern pennsylvania, starting to move into parts of new jersey already. One of these storms thats embedded within the line, top topping 60,000 feet tonight. Thats to the west of philadelphia. Its headed in the direction of Central New Jersey in the next several hours. This is the areabehere youre going to see the heaviest rain tonight and the threat of flash flood ing. Through central to northern new jersey, parts of the Hudson Valley and into the catskills. Once it moves over the city, it loses punch around 2 00 p. M. In terms of the morning commute, itll be worse for long island. Itll be passed the city by 6 00 a. M. It clears out behind that, now that the system is picking up speed. You can see where the heavy rain comes in before 4 00 a. M. The Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through tomorrow morning. The train killed the driver, but all passengers on the train were not hurt. Authorities say the 87yearold entered the tracks at a crossing on 1st street in west wood early this morning. He drove one mile along the tracks before getting stuck and hit by the train. The vehicle burst into flames. Police say theres evidence he tried to get off the tracks but apparently could not get out in time. Investigators have new details to review in a limo crash that killed four women on long island. Earlier today, police shut down part of county route 48 near depot lane to reconstruct last months crash. The District Attorney is trying to decide if the case should be sent to a grand jury. The family of one victim is now planning to file a lawsuit. This is the second lawsuit to come from the crash. Caitlyn jenner could face a manslaughter charge with her role in connection with the deadly crash in malibu. M. , were seeing good rain over midtown, but as w go toward the morning hours, it starts to move east. All of this presses eastward, and by 6 00 a. M. Over the city, the heavy rain is done but not for long for rhode island. The hurricane in the atlantic ocean, this is hurricane danny. Winds are up to 80 miles per hour. Its moving east and still likely to cause some issues of very heavy rain, even as a tropical storm, by sunday. It shattered windows of the school. According to fire officials, it happened inside a science classroom, and likely, some sort of gas explosion is what happened. That blast burned through three.
