One man facing multiple charges after a late night chase and crash in fairfax. It all began when the man assaulted a toddler at a home on autumn drive and then fled in a stolen vehicle. Police say the suspect then crashed that vehicle into a truck and assaulted the driver before stealing the truck. Officers caught up with the suspect and began a chase carrying over to centreville and frying pan roads. Thats when the suspect ran a stop light slamming into a passengers. A juvenile was thrown from the car and was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. Noone else was seriously injured. As for the suspect, he ran from the crash scene and was eventually arrested after an altercation. One officer was injured. His injuries arent listed as serious. The mans name has yet to be released. He faces multiple charges. That was the second chase in our area that resulted in a crash yesterday. Today two people in in custody after this crash along the gw parkway near the arlingtonmclean border. It all began from reports of an Armed Robbery at a pizza shop in germantown. Were told nobody was hurt in that robbery. Today a 55year old man is facing serious criminal charges for firing shots right in the middle of rush hour traffic. It happened right on i395. Police say around 5 oclock last night, 56 year old Adam Carabello was nearly hit by a jeep suv switching lanes. They say carabello sped up, passed the shot. The jeep driver flagged down a Pentagon Police officer, who then arrested carabello. A Virginia StatePolice Officer later inspected the car and found the bullet.
