Published February 11, 2021, 12:30 PM As we start the New Year, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic still loom heavily. Even if vaccines have been announced, distribution is still murky at best. However, in a bid to rejuvenate the economy, lockdown restrictions have been slowly loosening up. Restaurants are offering more dine-in options, malls have been opening up, and businesses are adding more office days. This attempt to attain some semblance of normalcy is understandable, but one still has to be responsible. Wearing masks, social-distancing, and washing hands are simple tasks that still need to be done on a daily basis to curb the spread of the virus.
