The winning run was recorded in the third inning by the Badgers. Purdue registered 8 hits in the outing. Five came within the final two innings, and despite loading the bases in the sixth, the Wisconsin defense held firm. Kasey Wilhoit produced the team's lone double while Becca Jones and Sydney Bates led the day with two hits apiece.
