Winter hazards in I-80, I-25 in Wyoming; up to 12 inches of snow expected in Cheyenne By Brendan LaChance on May 10, 2021 I-80 Harriman West (NWS in Cheyenne) CASPER, Wyo. — Southeast Wyoming is seeing some snowfall on Monday morning and the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says drivers should expect “wintry travel hazards” on portions of both I-80 and I-25 as well as other routes. Hazards include fog, falling and blowing snow, wet and slick roads and limited visibility. 6-12 inches of snow is are expected in central Laramie County and Cheyenne by noon Tuesday.
