Ontario universities, including Western, are seeing a surge in applications for fall enrolment, but the opposite is happening at the province’s community colleges.
Applications to Ontario colleges have dipped almost six per cent provincewide, with applications to London’s Fanshawe College down about four per cent, Devin Robinson, student recruitment officer, said.

“It seems to be consistent across the board for all colleges that direct student numbers have declined and to varying degrees the non-direct students have climbed,” he said.
