長期以政治凌駕教育專業的教協，近年肆意將政治帶入校園，向師生灌輸違法暴力及「反中亂港」思維，隨着7月底教育局宣布不再視該會為教育專業團體及終止與其工作關係，教協於8月10日宣布解散。
