Apr 12, 2021 You pretty much need a password for everything, and we're having a tough time keeping them all straight. A new LastPass survey finds: “Password Anxiety” is a real thing for a lot of people. Over the past month, the average American has been locked out of 10 online accounts because of a forgotten password. 63% of people say it’s a recurring problem. 65% of respondents admit they’d forget their passwords unless they wrote it down somewhere. Over 50% of people are forced to reset at least five passwords each month. Not that it helps much, with 57% saying they forget their new password as soon as they create it.
