The victims precious cargo, her twin sister and children under 4 years old were in that van. They witnessed the horror. Her family now struggling to come to terms with the pain of losing a loved one. Aundrea clinethomas joins us live near the scene of that crash with more on the search for the suspect. Reporter well, guys, police are looking for two men. I want to show you something. That shooting happened in front of the cricket store. The van hopped across all lanes before crashing into a business not far from where im standing. Take a look at the top right corner of your screen. Surveillance video shows a van veering across multiple lanes and crash iing into the Human Services building in the 5800 block of old york road. The two suspects fired two shots into the van at broad and grain streets killing the 23yearold driver. Family identified the victim. Definitely indescribable. Never felt this pain ever before. I hope no one has to go through this. Definitely something i cant put into words. Reporter his twin sister was in the van with small children. The victims appear to be innocent parties. Reporter today crews boarded up the broken door at Human Services. Down the street theres a bullet hole in the window of the cricket store. This incident was just too close for henry. Your life is very valuable. Reporter police returned to the scene looking for clues that helped track down the suspect. This is just mysterious. You can see the break in the action. Theres a whole lot more off to the south and the west of us. Theres a whole other storm system thats stirring up out there thats going to be coming through here. Were going to continue to see these showers taper off. Temperatures are going to fall. By president time you wake up in the morning, were going to be in the 30s. Were going to be looking at more showers making their way through the area. Up here near the poconos, i dont think it will be the Lehigh Valley. But the poconos, the air near the ground may be cold enough and get some freezing. The rest of us are going to see some shower activity. So you wake up in the upper 30s. You will see maybe a rain shower with clouds out there. Pennsylvania suburbs, 37. 34 in the Lehigh Valley. Just above freezing. 39 in new jersey. 41 along the jersey shore. Police say the scam artists were able to gain the trust of an unsuspecting man. At first, by sending him chocolates and all he had to do was allow boxes to be shipped to his house. Then they asked him to take merchandise, whether it was jewelry, electronics, to a pawnshop and turn that in for cash. Then send the cash back to them. Reporter police say the money was converted to bitcoin and once that happened to track that money it gets very complex. Its rare that were able to catch these criminals. Reporter investigators say this man was an easy tafrgt. The problem is he wasnt selling the stuff fast enough. How did police find out about this in the first place . When the victim wasnt sending the money to the thieves, those thieves then contacted the victims family and started threatening them. Told the Family Member know where you live and where your brother lives. Reporter Police Showed us the messages in which the lives of the victim and the family were threatened and they say this is one of many cases that serve as a warning. I think the best defense here is calling the police immediately. Reporter investigators want to find out where this stuff and other items really belong and say if you have a vulnerable Family Member or neighbor, check in with them. There are more than 100 jobs available. The hiring manager says even though the project is still two years away, a lot of the jobs start right thousand. But lets take a look at allentown. You can see the cloudy skies out there. We have seen a few rain drops on the lens. At this point were looking at a wet weekend. Were going to see some rain showers tonight and tomorrow. And i think the heaviest rain is saturday night and into sunday. Well be. Near 60 on sunday. So at least theres some sort of glimmer of saving grace there. And were going to have a dry start next week. We are going to be looking at nice seasonal conditions. Warmer than average. No 70s. Lets look at the rain on the radar. You can see it just sort of trailing through the area. We have some stronger showers, maybe even isolated thunderstorms near d. C. Moving toward baltimore. All of this is going to make its way through the area. A will the of sagging down through south jersey and delaware. Theres snow to the north across parts of new york. None of that for us. If we look further to the west, you can see another storm system thats revving up and its going to move in our direction as well. So were not done yet. We have days of this ahead of us. Lets wake you through the hour by hour. Northeast winds kept us cool today. Right around 40 right now. And were going to drop into the 30s overnight. Cold enough in the poconos. Below freezing that we could see freezing rain there. Im not expecting to see it in the Lehigh Valley. The suburbs will stay warm and the air mass above the ground needs to support freezing rain. That stays above freezing as well. Here we are tomorrow evening. Only into the 40s scattered showers and then here we go into saturday. A few showers. Temperatures into the mid50s. We still have a north wind, but watch what happens. We get heavy rain coming in overnight and into the first half of your sunday. Maybe even some thunderstorms associated with this. Well be in the 40s to start sunday morning. But as this clears out, were going to see the winds starting to push in from the south. This is that front lifting northward. And were going to see temperatures that are going to make it into the 60s even in philadelphia. But were at this point early afternoon, you can see 40s in al lentown. 64 in millville. The front is bisecting the area. How much rain are we looking at . A couple inches in the poconos. Maybe an inch or more in philadelphia. And an inch or so along the jersey shore. So this is going to be a good soaking. This is the amount were going to expect between now and by the time that we get into late on sunday. 38 right now in landon. Temperatures are dropping quickly. But again. I dont think this is where were going to see the freeze ing rain. Not worrying about freezing rain here in philadelphia. 42 in graduate hospital. And were look at 42 in bustleton. In the nearly two decades i have been here, i have never seen an incident like this. What fell from the roof of the lehigh value tunnel that left this hole in a drivers windshield killing him. Super bowl champ took in a few tunes from some talented kids today. Nbc 10 at central high where the schools band was performing with the band from Cleveland Heights high school. Kelsey is a graduate of Cleveland Heights and the center played the sax with the band in high school. Its actually kind of a cool moment seeing all those kids go and play and thinking not too long ago i was one of those kids and how everything transpired to where i am today. Its pretty awesome to recap all that. He sported his Old High School jacket right there. Todays performance is part of an Exchange Program between High School Music departments in philadelphia and cleveland. Nice out that all came together. He should have pick ed it up. The lehigh tunnel on the noex extension. A freak accident killed a man who was driving along doing his job. Hours ago the southbound tube of the tunnel reopened to traffic. Last night around 6 00 a piece of Electrical Equipment fell through a truck ers windshield hitting and killing had him immediately. That trucker was 70yearold Howard Sexton from gloucester county.
