Randy, retailers are hoping for crowds while procrastinators hope to get everything done on this almost day before christmas. Kohls is open 24 hours a day. You got until 6 00 p. M. On Christmas Eve to do your shopping. As you mentioned they call it super saturday, the final one before christmas. This year its cutting it pretty close just two days to go. And already we are seeing a few shoppers up dark and early to beat the crowds buying some lastminute stuff. The National Retail federation did a survey asking some 7,000 consumers about their Holiday Shopping this year. They found that about half of shoppers still plan to pick something up today or tomorrow. Only 12 said they were completely finished with gift buying. As you mentioned we are a nation of procrastination. That survey by the way also found that most americans did decide to do Holiday Shopping online this year. But of course at this point with just a couple days to go it might be too late to get that next day delivery, so you can expect the malls, the shops all over today to be pretty busy.
