radar and satellite we have high clouds spreading across the board. what makes that milky sky overhead looks kind of blue but kind of gray, that's what we're starting out this morning. as we go through the day we'll see clouds thicken up. as for temperatures, well, we know the blue means chilly, right? that's what we've got. blue is just seeping right into our neck of the woods. that's the cooler air that's kind of spreading across the map. you can see as a result we're about 48 degrees in philadelphia. now, the winds are these arrows and see how they're dropping in from the north? that's pulling in cooler air from the north which is going to keep us on the cool side throughout all of today. so unlike the last couple days where winds were able to warm us up in the afternoon, not going to be the case. instead looking at forecast highs. only getting to about upper 50s for many locations, 58 in the suburbs, 56 in the lehigh valley. about 61 the jersey shore. and 58 to near 60 throughout philadelphia neighborhoods as well. we're starting with a little more sunshine. they'll be less to see as we get later into the day. let's track the weather. so like i mentioned today a little chilly in the morning. it will be kind of cool throughout the rest of the day. clouds at about 4:00 p.m. this is when we're starting our future model. but they kind of built across the area, but overall this isn't a bad day we're looking at. it will be a little breezy. as we continue overnight into the sunday morning spotty showers are going to start to move in thanks to a warm front that's going to pass the area. a warm front means just that. it's going to transport in more mild air. so temperature won't be bad, but we will have the necessity for at least the umbrella on standby in case you get a few sprinkles throughout the morning hours. now, the chance of showers isn't quite as good in the afternoon. it will still be cloudy. it will be quite mild. temperatures will be in the 60s. you could still see an isolated shower pop up as you can see on our future model here. we keep with clouds overnight, a little broken into your monday morning commute, but monday following the warm front a cold front moves through. so that was another period of rain possibly heavier at times and potential for spot thunderstorm to develop as well. it will be fairly warm too because the warm air moves in ahead of this cold front. once that cold front passes though that's when things really cool down. we'll talk about that with your ten-day on 10 coming up. a family thankful to first responders who helped to deliver a baby boy who just could not wait. police body camera video captured maximus' birth inside an ambulance in the family's driveway. the family's voorhees home is only four minutes away from the hospital but max had other plans on sunday night. yesterday the first responders visited the family and talked about the dramatic delivery. >> it's a neat story to look back on. >> we never get to see people after we treat them. we just kind of pass them off to a hospital and hope for the best. so it's cool that we were able to come back and see her and see how happy she is and she made a quick recovery and the baby's okay. >> yeah. and everybody is doing all right. big sister, baby brother, he is weighing in at a healthy 7 pounds. all right. before we leave you this morning one last look at our weather. i mean, looking outside looks awesome. >> yeah, we've got thin high clouds right now. but they're going to kind of thicken up tonight. and then the rain will move in. so today stays cool, 58 in the afternoon. then we're looking overnight into tomorrow. this is spotty showers, don't forget to fall back that clock tonight. daylight savings time is beginning, so that means you get an extra hour of sleep. woo hoo. 67 for tomorrow, we warm up to 73 monday. monday another round of rain moves through, could even see a spot thunderstorm. check this out, that's with a cold front. after that we drop down big time. 58 tuesday, low 50s wednesday, thursday. that's right, 40s for the high on friday. >> yeah. i saw some lows in the 30s right around the freezing mark. >> yeah. >> it's that time. anyway, that's going to do it for us on this saturday. we hope you have a great day and see you back here tomorrow. grit. some have it. some don't. when the odds are
