there now. very comfortable numbers. 70 in potts town, 69 in allentown. 72 in mount holly. 72 in philadelphia and millville. we're going to have a big shock to the system tomorrow because we're going to be lucky to make it out of the 50s across much of the area tomorrow. nothing showing up on doppler radar. we have a front that's coming through, but the shower activity is just bumpyiing into our dry r mass. we'll see the clouds coming through and we'll see sunshine tomorrow. it's going to be sharply cooler by about 15 to 20 degrees. locate your fall jacket. 58 in philadelphia tomorrow, 56 in lehigh valley and 61 along the jersey shore. on sunday, we could see some rain, especially in the morning. we'll be back into the 60s when i come back i'll talk about how this could affect the eagles game and we have to talk about next week. it's going to be an interesting roller coaster ride ahead. we learn today that frank r r rizzo statue is being moved to a new location. right now it's in center city. it comes after the city asked you what to do, what should happen. >> next at 5:00, rosemary connors joins us. you spent the day talking to the artist who sculpted the statue of philly's former mayor. >> reporter: the sculptser said he did get a call from the city about the plans. he says he was never consulted in the process. in his opinion, there's a real opportunity here to continue this dialogue about this complicated former philadelphia leader. >> this is a chance for education. >> reporter: near the likeness of ben franklin, by the bust of martin luther king jr. and in the midst of other famous americans is frank rizzo, philadelphia's police commissioner and mayor from the late 1960s. >> it's hard to be objective because it's like my first born male child. >> reporter: he understands why some philadelphians protested the removal of rizzo. many view his legacy as oppressive. he wondered if there's a way to give new meaning to the statue. >> it's a good opportunity to have, again, bronze plaques that explains the differences of opinions about him. and having a sculpture there is a contrast. >> the decision puts us on the right side of history. >> reporter: helen gin says it tells the story about where philadelphia was. >> it's a statement about the importance of incluseivity for public places for all. >> you can see i'm doing this for fun. >> reporter: he tells me he didn't vote for rizzo and didn't agree with his politics. but believes the statue should still stand. >> i don't know who he would have been today. he would not necessarily have been that same frank rizzo. the day he died he went to an african-american church to try to get votes. >> reporter: this afternoon i also spoke to frank rizzo jr., who is a part of a movement here in philadelphia that is calling for a formal hearing in front of the arts commission to make their pitch about why they believe frank rizzo's statue should stay. i'll have more coming up at 6:00. reporting live outside the municipal services building. we have new information about a north hampton mother charged in the killing of her son. police say they found her inside her apartment passed out on the couch. her son, who was disabled, was discovered unresponsive in an overflowing bathtub. police say they found a syringe and spoon used for taking drugs inside the apartment. wallace has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. was it rigged? president trump says the american public deserved a federal investigation of hillary clinton and the democratic national committee. this after former acting dnc chair, donna brazile claimed the 2016 democratic primary was rigged in favor of hillary clinton. on twitter the president wrote pocahontas just stated that the democrats lead by the legendary crooked hillary clinton rigged the primaries. let's go fbi and the justice department, end quote. po pocahontas is what he calls senator warren. brazile responded says i said dnc rigged the season. first of all, i don't speak in all caps. she went on to say no laws were broken but a fundraising agreement looked unethical. today, philadelphia native chris matthews host of heaardba. he said her claim could tear the party apart. >> it's going to add to the division to the party between the bernie people. the young people in many cases and now they will have a justification for their suspicion that the party establishment was backing hillary. one thing you've got to say about donald trump, he's a brilliant exploiter, an opportunist that lives off the land. if something breaks his way he gobbles it up and use said it. the president and first lady head today asia on a 12 day trip to five different countries o. a total disgrace to our country and military. that's what the president is saying about a judge's decision not to give bowe bergdahl prison time. bergdahl pleaded guilty to desertion and misbehavior before the enemy. he faced up to life in prison but instead a judge sentenced him to a dishonorable discharge and reduction in rank. bergdahl walked off his base in afghanistan in 2009 and was captured by the taliban. police say a woman found dead in her camden county apartment was murdered. >> officers responded in blackwood just before 11:00 last night after receiving a 911 call. that's where they found a 42-year-old woman dead on the floor. police aren't saying just how the woman died. no one has been arrested. the former chief of security at a delaware prison where inmates staged that deadly riot in february is no longer with the department of corrections. it's not clear whether he quit voluntarily or was forced out. 18 inmates were indicted last month for their alleged roles in the uprising. lieutenant steven floyd passed away. three other prison workers were taken hostage. isis is claiming responsibility for the deadly terror attack in new york city. investigators are looking through the phone of the suspect. detectives say they found isis propaganda and videos on s sayfullo saipov's iphone. eight people died and 11 more were work when saipov drove a truck into people on a bike path. police shot him in the stomach after he jumped out of the truck holding two guns. one of the victims was darren drake. his father says to be angry is useless and they are overwhelmed by the support in their community. at least two maskosques in passaic county have gotten threats. on a typical friday, the mosque gets 2,000 people for prayers. still ahead, are they safe? maybe 44 in philadelphia. 38 in potts town, 37 in allentown. warmer along the jersey shore. that's where we'll see the 50s. and basically your weekend is going to be a mixed bag. it's going to be chilly tomorrow. if you're going to the heart walk, jacqueline london is the emcee out there. it will be sunny but you'll need your jacket. 58 in the pennsylvania suburbs, 56 in the lehigh valley. 59 father says he started the fire that burned down his family's home. delaware online reports christopher greg became enraged and ransacked his daughter's room. he is now charged with arson. a 2-year-old child who was struck by a newark county police officer is now out of the hospital. the officer was in his unmarked vehicle when he hit a woman pushing a child in a stroller. the officer was not injured and an investigation is ongoing. investigators are working to identify a woman who was found floating in cobb's creek this morning. someone spotted the body and called police. all investigators know is the woman was in her 30s or 40s. they don't know who she is or how she died. a case involving two people found dead in philadelphia's kensington neighborhood is being investigated as an apparent murder/suicide. officers found a car with a man and woman dead inside. the two people inside were shot in the head. police say the man was still holding the gun when they discovered the bodies. the couple had a history of domestic violence. take a look at this robber, he pulls a knife on a worker. it happened at the oregon discount market on 11th street in south philly last month. police tell us the suspect got away with cash. call police if you know who this is or anything about this case. a $10,000 reward is on the table for anyone who can help lead police to the arrest and conviction of this robbery suspect. investigators say he robbed the freedom credit union on princeton avenue. he handed a threatening note to the teller and flashed adgun. philly police want to talk to this man. a surveillance camera captured him allegedly taking a package from a house in the 2,400 block of manten street. investigators say he first cased the block on his bike, then came back and grabbed the box from the doorstep. a raccoon that attacked two dogs and their owner has tested positive for rabies. the dogs were outside in their owner's yard in camden county when the raccoon attacked them. the homeowner was scratched when it attacked the dogs. vice president mike pence will be in york county, pennsylvania tomorrow. he'll be joined by secretary of labor, alexander acosta. the plan is to meet with business leaders and families to talk about tax reform. in just four days, you have a say in some important local elections. delaware county, the deadline to submit an absentee ballot for civilians just passed. military must be received by monday november 6th. delaware county, making sure you're safe from the flu while on the go. the county council held three drive through flu shots today. everyone was invited, but it especially helped neighbors who are less mobile and parents with young kids. in montgomery county, the edgehill road bridge over route 611 has it's not very often that we do. but tonight, reality sets back in. we'll be 46 in philadelphia. 39 in allentown. 44 in wilmington. 46 in atlantic city. that's because we have a front coming through. behind it, cooler air is on the way. so let's look at the doppler radar. we have clouds in place but we don't have any rain. all that rain just bumping up against that drier air that we have here. it's falling apart. it's a weak front. behind it is a push of very chilly air. in fact, so chilly, look at the air that's in place across minnesota and wisconsin. they're looking at heavier snow there. we're focused down at the bottom of your screen. there's another system that's going to come out of parts that region and that's heading in our direction. 44 in philadelphia in the morning, 30s in out lying areas. clouds will move in tomorrow afternoon. so we'll get a little sun and then clouds. then rain moves in ahead of a warm front on our sunday morning. look at it at 1:00, just about game time. we could still see a few scattered showers. here comes the warm front. it's going to turn our winds and we'll warm into the 60s on sunday. and on monday, we could be into the 70s before this cold front comes through. then brings us some very frigid air. how frigid? i'm glad you asked. we're looking at 58 for tomorrow. that's chilly. we have the big philly heart walk tomorrow. you turn your clocks back. you get the extra hour of sleep on sunday morning. there is the eagles' game, we could see showers in the morning. then late at night and into monday we could see some more showers. perhaps the best chance of showers will be in the afternoon on monday with storms. that's when we could see the 70s. then we fall to the 50s on tuesday. 52 on wednesday. 52 on thursday. look at next friday and saturday. highs only in the 40s. and we could see our first freeze in philadelphia. the end of next week. guys? there now. very comfortable numbers. 70 in potts town, 69 in allentown. 72 in mount holly. 72 in philadelphia and millville. we're going to have a big shock to the system tomorrow because we're going to be lucky to make it out of the 50s across much of the area tomorrow. nothing showing up on doppler radar. we have a front that's coming through, but the shower activity is just bumpyiing into our dry r mass. we'll see the clouds coming through and we'll see sunshine tomorrow. it's going to be sharply cooler by about 15 to 20 degrees. locate your fall jacket. 58 in philadelphia tomorrow, 56 in lehigh valley and 61 along the jersey shore. on sunday, we could see some rain, especially in the morning. we'll be back into the 60s when i come back i'll talk about how this could affect the eagles game and we have to talk about next week. it's going to be an interesting roller coaster ride ahead. we learn today that frank r r rizzo statue is being moved to a new location. right now it's in center city. it comes after the city asked you what to do, what should happen. >> next at 5:00, rosemary connors joins us. you spent the day talking to the artist who sculpted the statue of philly's former mayor. >> reporter: the sculptser said he did get a call from the city about the plans. he says he was never consulted in the process. in his opinion, there's a real opportunity here to continue this dialogue about this complicated former philadelphia leader. >> this is a chance for education. >> reporter: near the likeness of ben franklin, by the bust of martin luther king jr. and in the midst of other famous americans is frank rizzo, philadelphia's police commissioner and mayor from the late 1960s. >> it's hard to be objective because it's like my first born male child. >> reporter: he understands why some philadelphians protested the removal of rizzo. many view his legacy as oppressive. he wondered if there's a way to give new meaning to the statue. >> it's a good opportunity to have, again, bronze plaques that explains the differences of opinions about him. and having a sculpture there is a contrast. >> the decision puts us on the right side of history. >> reporter: helen gin says it tells the story about where philadelphia was. >> it's a statement about the importance of incluseivity for public places for all. >> you can see i'm doing this for fun. >> reporter: he tells me he didn't vote for rizzo and didn't agree with his politics. but believes the statue should still stand. >> i don't know who he would have been today. he would not necessarily have been that same frank rizzo. the day he died he went to an african-american church to try to get votes. >> reporter: this afternoon i also spoke to frank rizzo jr., who is a part of a movement here in philadelphia that is calling for a formal hearing in front of the arts commission to make their pitch about why they believe frank rizzo's statue should stay. i'll have more coming up at 6:00. reporting live outside the municipal services building. we have new information about a north hampton mother charged in the killing of her son. police say they found her inside her apartment passed out on the couch. her son, who was disabled, was discovered unresponsive in an overflowing bathtub. police say they found a syringe and spoon used for taking drugs inside the apartment. wallace has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. was it rigged? president trump says the american public deserved a federal investigation of hillary clinton and the democratic national committee. this after former acting dnc chair, donna brazile claimed the 2016 democratic primary was rigged in favor of hillary clinton. on twitter the president wrote pocahontas just stated that the democrats lead by the legendary crooked hillary clinton rigged the primaries. let's go fbi and the justice department, end quote. po pocahontas is what he calls senator warren. brazile responded says i said dnc rigged the season. first of all, i don't speak in all caps. she went on to say no laws were broken but a fundraising agreement looked unethical. today, philadelphia native chris matthews host of heaardba. he said her claim could tear the party apart. >> it's going to add to the division to the party between the bernie people. the young people in many cases and now they will have a justification for their suspicion that the party establishment was backing hillary. one thing you've got to say about donald trump, he's a brilliant exploiter, an opportunist that lives off the land. if something breaks his way he gobbles it up and use said it. the president and first lady head today asia on a 12 day trip to five different countries o. a total disgrace to our country and military. that's what the president is saying about a judge's decision not to give bowe bergdahl prison time. bergdahl pleaded guilty to desertion and misbehavior before the enemy. he faced up to life in prison but instead a judge sentenced him to a dishonorable discharge and reduction in rank. bergdahl walked off his base in afghanistan in 2009 and was captured by the taliban. police say a woman found dead in her camden county apartment was murdered. >> officers responded in blackwood just before 11:00 last night after receiving a 911 call. that's where they found a 42-year-old woman dead on the floor. police aren't saying just how the woman died. no one has been arrested. the former chief of security at a delaware prison where inmates staged that deadly riot in february is no longer with the department of corrections. it's not clear whether he quit voluntarily or was forced out. 18 inmates were indicted last month for their alleged roles in the uprising. lieutenant steven floyd passed away. three other prison workers were taken hostage. isis is claiming responsibility for the deadly terror attack in new york city. investigators are looking through the phone of the suspect. detectives say they found isis propaganda and videos on s sayfullo saipov's iphone. eight people died and 11 more were work when saipov drove a truck into people on a bike path. police shot him in the stomach after he jumped out of the truck holding two guns. one of the victims was darren drake. his father says to be angry is useless and they are overwhelmed by the support in their community. at least two maskosques in passaic county have gotten threats. on a typical friday, the mosque gets 2,000 people for prayers. still ahead, are they safe? thousands of runners, including some from our area might be asking themselves that as they prepare to run in the new york city marathon. we'll tell you about the security measures in place after tuesday's terror attack. and a two-year-old hit by an off duty police officer. we'll tell you how the little girl is doing tonight. then there's tainted candy. the strange behavior that a teacher noticed in her students shortly before they were rushed to a hospital. why are south jerseyans turning against steve sweeney? father says he started the fire that burned down his family's home. delaware online reports christopher greg became enraged and ransacked his daughter's room. he is now charged with arson. a 2-year-old child who was struck by a newark county police officer is now out of the hospital. the officer was in his unmarked vehicle when he hit a woman pushing a child in a stroller. the officer was not injured and an investigation is ongoing. investigators are working to identify a woman who was found floating in cobb's creek this morning. someone spotted the body and called police. all investigators know is the woman was in her 30s or 40s. they don't know who she is or how she died. a case involving two people found dead in philadelphia's kensington neighborhood is being investigated as an apparent murder/suicide. officers found a car with a man and woman dead inside. the two people inside were shot in the head. police say the man was still holding the gun when they discovered the bodies. the couple had a history of domestic violence. take a look at this robber, he pulls a knife on a worker. it happened at the oregon discount market on 11th street in south philly last month. police tell us the suspect got away with cash. call police if you know who this is or anything about this case. a $10,000 reward is on the table for anyone who can help lead police to the arrest and conviction of this robbery suspect. investigators say he robbed the freedom credit union on princeton avenue. he handed a threatening note to the teller and flashed adgun. philly police want to talk to this man. a surveillance camera captured him allegedly taking a package from a house in the 2,400 block of manten street. investigators say he first cased the block on his bike, then came back and grabbed the box from the doorstep. a raccoon that attacked two dogs and their owner has tested positive for rabies. the dogs were outside in their owner's yard in camden county when the raccoon attacked them. the homeowner was scratched when it attacked the dogs. vice president mike pence will be in york county, pennsylvania tomorrow. he'll be joined by secretary of labor, alexander acosta. the plan is to meet with business leaders and families to talk about tax reform. in just four days, you have a say in some important local elections. delaware county, the deadline to submit an absentee ballot for civilians just passed. military must be received by monday november 6th. delaware county, making sure you're safe from the flu while on the go. the county council held three drive i'm glad you asked. we're looking at 58 for tomorrow. that's chilly. we have the big philly heart walk tomorrow. you turn your clocks back. you get the extra hour of sleep on sunday morning. there is the eagles' game, we could see showers in the morning. then late at night and into monday we could see some more showers. perhaps the best chance of showers will be in the afternoon on monday with storms. that's when we could see the 70s. then we fall to the 50s on tuesday. 52 on wednesday. 52 on thursday. look at next friday and saturday. highs only in the 40s. and we could see our first freeze in philadelphia. the end of next week. guys?
