It was up stairs in a bedroom where a 6yearold somehow got his hands on a gun and shot his brother. Another 12yearold sibling was also home. Char lean says there had never been a problem with the kids at home. To come home and hear about this was very disturbing. I hope and pray hes going to be all right. Reporter investigators say there were no parents home when the gun went off. They just needed to put the gun away. Reporter it pewers a neighbor alerted the family to what happened. There are still key questions police need to answer in this case. And theyre working on that. Whos gun was it, where was it stor stored and how did Young Children get their hands on it . Weve been checking with police on the latest updates on that toddlers condition. Theyre still saying hes critical tonight. At least two police or people are accused of assaulting Police Officers after protests got out of control in center city. It happened outside a major Law Enforcement conference in town this weekend. If we dont get it. Shut it down. Dozens of people today at arch and 12th streets yelling. Officers are here to learn new ways to fight crime. One group of protesters suggested abolishing police. Meanwhile some onlookers in the crowd were angry and confused. Minority groups dont get their due respect, and theres no one held accountable. They need to have dialogue and relationship. The officers that were injured were treated and released at the hospital. He promised to work with Police Departments and help reduce crime during what he calls a tumultuous time for Law Enforcement. Police tell us this happened just after 6 00 in carlas lane in chester. Two men and two women were struck. There were about 0 people on the court at the time. Investigators tell us the shooter was on the street above the court and fired down on the victims. Theyre still not sure if the victims were targeted or whether this was a random shooting. Army Sergeant La David Johnson was laid to rest this morning near his home enflorida. He was killed alongside three of his comresidence during an ambush in africa. His death sparked an ongoing feud between President Trump and congresswomen fredrika wilson. There was no mention of the political headlines generated in the aftermath of his death, just remembrances of a young soldier, husband and father gone too soon. Well, tonight there are new questions about the final hours of those four soldiers. The pentagon said the soldiers were ambushed in niger after a planned visit to village elders. A report from the the New York Times says that might not be the whole story. The times cites military sources that were seen chasing insurgents before they died.
