We had needed today call crisis several times for our oldest daughter who is really struggling. And at that point, found out that she was addicted to opiates. Reporter they now have custody of their oldest daughters child, sophia and their lives are driven by the needs of an energetic toddler. Its more of a challenge because if sophia is sick, one of us has got to play Rock Paper Scissors to see who stays home with her. Reporter they juggle as parents and grandparents. Each work full time. Its a daily change. Our life doesnt stop because we have sophia. Its our life plus its sophia. Which we wouldnt trade. We wouldnt. Because its the right thing to do. Reporter sophias mom is in recovery and does visit. The sealies hope for a permanent family reunion. But its constant fear. Loving her is making sure shes in a place thats safe.
