The epa says all molds can potentially be harmful and yet even that federal agency has not set any standards for airborne mold contaminants. It is worth noting, across our region, state departments of health can close down buildings that threat den Public Health but that can only happen after mold is discovered and disclosed and in both of the local cases, School Leaders made that decision independently before it might have been forced upon them.
