South carolina lawmakers took a final and decisive vote to remove the Confederate Flag from the grounds of the state capital. Calls to take it down began after last months shooting rampage at a black church by a suspect seen posing in photos with the Confederate Flag. A Catholic School in Montgomery County is in the center of a controversy after accusations that administrators fired a teacher because she is in a samesex marriage. Dozens of margie winters supporters gathered last night in fairmont. She was fired when two parents reportedly claimed about her being married to another woman. Winters had served as the schools director of religious education. We support margie but we are going to support the broader and Bigger Picture and the Bigger Picture is about a community. The school issued this statement, quote. The decision to fire winters could put the school in legal trouble. The township has an antidiscrimination ordinance which makes it illegal to fire someone based on sexual orientation. Animal rights activists say this happened at a farm in delaware that supplies tyson foods. The group mercy for animals errored the video with a hidden body animal.
