Reply (Shutterstock / ChiccoDodiFC) WATERFORD, CT — A Waterford man was killed when sheriff's deputies fired at him following a chase in northern Louisiana, according to The Associated Press. Michael Laduca, 42, of Waterford, died after a confrontation with deputies Wednesday night. State police investigating the case said Laduca drove away as deputies in tried to stop him. He later crashed his Jeep Grand Cherokee through a barbed wire fence and got stuck in a ditch, according to The Associated Press. Deputies then fired following a confrontation.
