A standing-room-only crowd packed the Garland County Circuit Court Division IV courtroom Wednesday as former Chief Deputy Prosecutor Kara Petro was formally sworn in and ceremonially robed as the new circuit court judge by outgoing Judge Marcia Hearnsberger.
