Virginia says state money for Metro 'sufficient' : compareme

Gov. Glenn Youngkin says Virginia already has provided "sufficient" funding for financially troubled Washington's Metro transit system, which his administration acknowledges as "a critical asset" for Northern Virginia and a $2 billion sports and entertainment complex in Alexandria to lure two professional sports franchises to cross the Potomac River.
