SINGAPORE, July 17 (Bernama): The first case linked to the KTV cluster, so far the second largest active Covid-19 cluster in Singapore, is a Vietnamese woman who entered the republic in February 2021 via the Familial Ties Lane that facilitates the entry of foreigners with intimate ties here.
The Short-Term Visit Pass holder is sponsored by a Singapore Citizen who is her boyfriend, according to a joint statement by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) today.
The statement noted that short-term visitors cannot engage in any form of employment - paid or unpaid -, or in any business, profession or occupation in Singapore.
