Melbourne's Prahran Markets named as latest COVID-19 venue amid concerns Victoria's cases could soar There are concerns for shoppers who visited a popular market in Melbourne on Saturday as exposure sites and case numbers continue to grow in the city. David WuDigital Reporter July 22, 2021 - 8:00AM Prahran Markets released a statement on their website to alert shoppers that the state's health department notified them an infected shopper spent one-and-a-half hours at the venue. The COVID-19 positive person attended at least seven stores on July 17 from 9:40am to 11:15am. Department of Health and Human Services said the traders visited includes: Pete n Rosie's Deli, Q le Baker, Prahran Seafoods, John Cester's Poultry and Game, Gary's Quality Meats, Reliable Fruit and Veg and Market Lane Coffee.
