Victim of Bridgeport courthouse shooting denied bail By Peter Yankowski A judge's gavel for the files. A federal judge Tuesday ordered Trevon Wright, who was shot and wounded a year ago outside the Bridgeport Superior Courthouse, to remain in custody pending trial, citing a continued threat to the community over a smoldering “gang war” in Bridgeport. Wright, 19, and three others were indicted last week on federal racketeering and murder charges. The indictment alleges all four were members of the East End gang, which along with the PT Barnum, East Side and 150 gangs “were aligned against” two other rival gangs in Bridgeport — the Original North End and Greene Homes Boyz.
