Countries including Mexico, Egypt, Peru, South Africa, and Thailand used this opportunity to promote their popular fruits. According to Zhang Keshuai, general manager of the Produce Department of the company, the "pre-sale + shared warehouse + collection” model of community e-commerce can greatly reduce logistics and distribution costs and product damage, and improve the distribution efficiency of seasonal fruits. Chengxinyouxuan has signed sourcing contracts with major fruit producing areas in China to market regional landmark produce across the country. Seasonal fruits of May include lychees, durians and various melons (watermelons and honeydew melons). Feizixiao lychees are coming from Hainan, Guangdong and Guangxi; Kirin watermelons are coming from from Henan and Jiangsu; and Xizhou melons are coming from Shandong, Xinjiang and Gansu.
