LEBANON — The Hanover High boys lacrosse team built a 3-1 lead after one quarter and an 8-1 advantage by halftime, using that as a foundation for a 15-6 win over Lebanon on Thursday afternoon at Lebanon High School.
Jack Badams netted a season-high six goals and two assists for the Marauders (3-0), who earned their second win over the next-door neighbors in three days. Brett Simmons (three goals, two assists) and Sawyer Brown (two goals, one assist) also had big days on offense.
Hanover coach Ryan Gardner credited Brendan Logan’s play in midfield, vacuuming up 15 ground balls to help the Marauders maintain control. Logan, Seamus Murphy, Angus Frew and DH Hendrick accounted for Hanover’s other scores, and Danny Pitiger made seven saves.
