Amid persistent challenges hampering the Silkyara tunnel rescue operation, residents from nearby villages are turning to prayers in a collective plea to the local deity, Baba Boukhnag, for the swift release of the 41 workers who have been trapped inside for the past 13 days. Speaking to PTI, numerous locals revealed that they engage in daily prayers, seeking the wellbeing and safe rescue of the workers caught in the tunnel.
