Utica fireworks: Things to do over July 4th holiday weekend

While not taking place on the holiday itself, Utica's Independence Day Fireworks Celebration will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday, July 5, at F.T. Proctor Park at the corner of Rutger Street and Culver Avenue in East Utica. A shuttle from Mohawk Valley Community College’s Payne Hall will run from 6:30 p.m. until after the fireworks. A vaccination clinic for anyone age 12 and older will run from 5 to 8 p.m. at the site.
Music
Local band Soul Injection will play at 7:30 p.m. at the celebration, but the band also will hold a roster of performances over the holiday weekend:
